Negative synergy? I prefer controlled chaos.
Let's get the obvious out of the way first: Ekomind and Levy do not play nice. Once you clear your hand with the LARLA, your MU drops to zero, and any programs you've installed are trashed. But the power this set-up provides is too good to pass up without at least giving it a good look. So we're going to throw caution to the wind and run this like we would an event based Chaos Theory.
We want to make two passes through this deck. The first is meant to take only a few turns, and it should be pure econ and establishment, while poking around to force the corp to rez ice. Dig deep with Duggar's, install your e3, set up your Prepaids, work at your Day Job. Plop down Parasite to start eating away. Get Same Old Thing ready to fire. Ditch everything else that isn't draw or money. You don't want Ekomind until your second pass. You don't want Origami, Medium or Stim Dealer (unless you're feeling ballsy) until your second pass. Don't be afraid to keep up some pressure with Overmind on the first run-through, because you'll just be getting those tokens back. Once you've Duggar'ed your way into most of the good stuff, drop the hammer; it's time to Levy.
The best thing that can happen is to see your Ekomind and Origamis early. To that end, I've added one copy of Trade-In, the target being one of your Prepaids, since for the event suite this deck packs, three just ends up being an extra credit from Sure Gamble. This essentially means your deck packs four copies of Ekomind. And once that console drops early in pass two, it's all about upping the pressure. Break through barriers with your ability and e3, Overmind/Eater for the code gates, and Mimic for Swordsman (corps will start running a lot more Swordsmen. I promise). Then use the Utensils to melt away whatever it is you need to break, and don't be afraid to use Planned Assault to dig them out.
The CriminArch concept has always been my favorite for Quetzal. Her ability wants her to run early, and it wants her to run often, and I think the new card support will finally make this idea shine. This is of course pure theory, so I'm curious. What would you change? Is this deck better without Levy, maybe replace it instead with an Inside Job or Indexing and scrap the multiple passes? Let me know what you think!
I think that people should stop imaging decks with cards that will come out in 2 or 3 months at least. Also, without taking into consideration what the hell the corp meta will be then for example.
Let me give you a very slight glimpse of what will ruin ruin your deck HARD.
" Ooooh, Dydra, you aren't correct. Because I know that Weyland will play Scorches and meat damage and you see my Ekomind, Origami build gives me enough huge grip (HUGE GRIP OH YES) to survive through their scorches ! pew-pew"
Well, my dear random user, let me introduce you the example of Power Shutdown Where Weyland (which no lies, will be the dominant corp after the big box) for 0 Cost will trash your Origami ( you having no other 0 cost program/hw) and suddenly you will be dead.
Wooopie .... now let's imagine even more decks and think how hard they will rock our current set of corporations, rather than the meta decks that will pop up.
