Pre-rotation decklist |
This deck is built around Replicator and the Hayley Kaplan ability. Inside Man and Aesop's provide much of the economy. When up and running, the Stealth breakers are largely self-funding, and you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a solid R&D Lock, or breaking your way into any individual remote that you suspect might harbour an Agenda.
The deck may seem big at 54 cards, but once you get Replicator out, it's very easy to chew through cards. You can easily install 3x Lockpick or 3x Silencer in a single turn, as soon as you pick up one of them.
This deck isn't always fast in the early game. If you get an early Silencer and a Cloak, then you can try some facechecks. But the normal path to victory is to get your Stealth rig running fast than is reasonable, and then just hammer R&D with re-usable credits, topped-up by the 3 credits a turn you should get from Aesop's.
STARTING HAND: Replicator is vital. Inside Man is good too, although you can do without it if necessary. Aesop's Pawnshop is a key part of the economy, so it's a welcome sight in the starting hand, even though it's not really necessary until mid-game.
PARICIA - Once you pick up an Akamatsu Mem Chip and replicate it, you'll have plenty of memory, so this is a nice in-faction version of Scrubber which is vital against Asset-heavy corporations.
NET CELEBRITY - Our meta tends to feature Currents in most decks, so I need a couple. Also, all that hardware is rather vulnerable to Housekeeping. So you might want to keep a Net Celebrity in hand if you suspect Currents may come out.
DAGGER and SWITCHBLADE - Which one you want depends on how many stealth credits you have. If you've Replicated Silencer already, then Switchblade is great. If you're still running on a single Cloak then Dagger is the better option.
FEEDBACK FILTER - There's two of them, like there's two of every piece of hardware. With Replicator, it's free cards for taking net damage. If you have an Inside Man and nothing better to do that turn, you can install the second one and Aesop's it for three credits next turn.
AESOP'S PAWNSHOP - Sell him nearly everything! Just installed an Astrolabe? Replicate it, sell the first one to Aesop's and install another one free next turn, with Inside Man and Hayley's ability! Don't be afraid to sell off a Lockpick if you have three of them. Ghost Runner down to 1 credit? Sell it! Armitage Codebusting down to the last 2 credits? You know what to do.
KATI JONES - Kati is vital if the game goes unusually long, as you will eventually run out of stuff to sell.
