1st Place Runner deck at Fun 4 All in Ypsilanti, MI on March 7th, 2015
23 Participants
5 Rounds, Top 8
Based on Calimsha's fantastic build. Only change was 1 more The Maker's Eye instead of 1 Indexing. I made this change because I expected more glacier/taxing meta where multiple R&D runs in the same turn would be unlikely.
4-1 in Swiss (including 1 time win)
2-0 in Double Elimination

You do have enough cash to run and trash their assets/upgrades. Here's my priority: SanSan City Grid (trash if they have 5 or more credits), then DBS (you can leave it out for a turn or 2, but trash it as soon as you can as long as it doesn't cripple your economy, which is generally hard to do if you 1-2 Prepaid out). Lastly, PAD Campaign, if they're poor and you have the cash, you can trash it. If it's NEARPAD-type deck, which can be considered a FA deck, trashing PAD Campaign is a good plan, it denies the drip from it and makes the Diversified Portfolio less potent. Don't worry about Marked Accounts, in nearly all circumstances it a huge tempo hit. Maybe if you know the next 3 cards in R&D are not threatening (i.e. Maker's Eye, Indexing), have huge piles of credits, and they are really poor, then maybe it's worth trashing. Otherwise, it's generally better to just draw for more multi-access. |
How do you handle NEH FA assets?
