Ganked! is right card for AgI 3:0 at GNK

Cucin 250

This is deck I have played recently quite often and I have taken it also on our small GNK tournament. I don´t like nowadays direction of Nisei which prefer quicker game with corp rush. I think it harms the game cause it´s less interactive between players. I like more old school glacier style decks with more interaction between players and with more puzzles for runner. So this is my deck. I think it´ s also good meta call, cause many people play rush decks or have tools against quick corps, so they don´t have tools against this monster With so many ices you have also good chance against Maw and Hippo decks. Because in this deck are so many big costly ices it´s important to have also many economic cards for rezing. The most questionable is Mwanza City Grid which is doubledge card. It´s important to increase your chance more then runners. so for example I rez it on rd in situation when I have at least 2 agendas in hand or on remote server, so statistically I have more chance runner doesn´t hit any other agenda. Cause in deck are two more Mwanza City Grid or Divert Power you can easily get rid of first rezed Mwanza like derez it with Divert Power or reinstall it with second copy of Mwanza City Grid or you can just install another whatever upgrade to server where is rezzed Mwanza and just trash it to archive. So I think to play Mwanza is not so risky as you can think. This deck is not primarily kill deck, so I don´t play Snares which should be good combo with Mwanza, but hey you can add Snares of course. The main purpose of this deck is to suck out runner from credits and then score easily. For that purpose AgInfusion ability is nice and big ices with GGGAAANKEEED is something I really like the most in this deck. Especially when you boost strength of your ice with your Corporate Troubleshooter on the same server. You can sometimes kill the runner (when he/she had not enough credits) also with rezed Mwanza and Ganked (more the bette) in hand or in RD stock pile. Rime can be also nice addition to this strategy to mess with runner math. So many zero cost cards (Anoetic, Ngo, Spin Doctor, Rasheeda, Mind Game, Rime, Vanilla and so on) are good for rezing some big ice with help of divert power. And if you derez Vanilla you can use your AgInfusion ability again - what a boomer. Archived Memories is good card – use it for you need the most in concrete situation. Hey I could write more and more about strategy of this deck but it would be no pleasure for you to discover it. If I would think about some changes maybe Daruma and Rime I use not so often so you can change them for some other ice or whatever better card.

So I finished unbeaten with this deck in our small GNK tournament, but the last one with pure luck against Deep Dive, Out of the Ashes, Temple of the Liberated Mind, Beth deck. Runner used 3 Deep Dive in one turn so he saw 24 cards and steal just one agenda I think – what a luck for me. Deep Dive is broken I think.
Thanks all player for attendance and nice games - gl in next one.

I like rush precisely because it feels more interactive to me. You challenge the runner right away rather than both sides spending ages setting up, and you force them to prove they have short-term solutions and not just a big combo that will win after X turns. Glacier is often a numbers game - less a puzzle and more a competition of brute efficiency.

The central tension of my ideal Netrunner game space is between economic efficiency and the ability to find solutions to problems fast. Glaciers test the former more, while rushes test the latter. The cards that bug me are therefore efficient AIs like Aumakua (and Faust, a long time ago), as they provide a universal can opener that's also often a good economic investment in the long term.
