Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking that mimic is essential in this deck because a lot of my programs are hosted on other programs and I need something to mitigate the trash one progam subroutine on some sentries otherwise it becomes very expensive. I also run the risk of all sentries on centrals with a virus wipe essentially locking me out permanently without another way to get in. I'm actually dropping some instant econ for a third magnum since I think it's the best route to go with Kate and leprechauns. Once installed I can click for two which is pretty good compared with other economy cards (click to draw, click to play - could just as easily be click twice on opus and have extra space in the deck for other cards). I'll publish the current deck for you to look at, but I think I have to take a break from editing before I play it a bit more. |
I like it. My two immediate thoughts are: I'm not sure mimic is necessary when you have atman and data sucker. It might be worth replacing with a "tinkering" so that you can use corroder for sentry in an emergency. Also, perhaps replacing one Magnum Opus with a daily casts, aesop's pawnshop, or professional contacts would be valuable. That way, if you end up getting two close together their value stacks instead of becoming redundant. You could also put in dirty laundry, lucky find or something similar to get some fast cash if you already have an opus out.
If you build a deck around R&D interface, makers eye, and medium you could probably use a similar set up to win the game in a single round, accessing something like 3,4,5,6 cards in 4 clicks.
I like where this deck is at though, things are getting very interesting. My runner needs some help, but I changed a few things. Have a look.
