Haas-Bioroid: Building your destruction (JC)

This H-B Deck has a slow start, but if used correctly it becomes a powerhouse on mid/late game. There are a few combo's built inside to use freely. Have fun playing this Deck!

Have you played this deck at all? I'm wondering if you could explain the combos. Rex Campaign and Alix T4LB07, and Tyr's Hand are normally not great cards - why did you include them?

First of all, Thank you for commenting,

Now to answer your questions:

Yes, I have played this deck multiple times. Tyr's hand is used to stop the runner at a crucial moment or to inflict maximum damage when needed, A.K.A. when there is one icebreaker or program used to pass through your Ice or you just need to score your last agenda. Or you want to protect a particularly important Asset.

Rex campaign is usually overlooked when people play against it. Use it as cash (with a timer on it), so you need to anticipate a lot. The more you play, the easier the anticipation.

As for Alix, I was looking for easy cash, but I didn't have enough points for a GRNDL Facility, but you can always swap it with Hedge Fund. Alix however is usually not trashed by the runner until you have 3 or more power counters on it, plus one low ice in front. (Eli 1.0)

Last but not least, the combo's: 1. Archer, Janus, Orion and Ichi 2.0 cost a lot, but if you score Accelerated Beta Test you can easily put them down without having to pay a nickel.

  1. Howler can be used to put down a quick line of defense in front of the runner, but it is useless if the runner can do multiple runs.

  2. Archived Memories can be used to redo your operations/assets, if you need more cash, or to take back important cards. This can be useful if playing against an Anarch deck or to counter Forced Activation Orders from Criminal decks.

Tips + extra combo:

  1. Try to install Eli 1.0 first. it is one of the strongest low-cost barriers in the game and forces the runner to either build up his resources or to use time to pass through and slowing him down. Combined with Tyr's hand, it can become really frustrating for the runner to be stopped after passing through multiple lyers of defense.

  2. Use Shipment from MM to install a quick line of defense with an agenda/asset. This can also stack up with Alix, leading to a quick 6 creds in 1 turn. ( First action: install Alix, Second action: Use Shipment from MM and install, Third action: use Alix) Don't forget to activate Alix before doing all those actions. (Happened to me)

  3. Don't forget to advance Orion and Fire Wall. If you do not want to lose time, you advance twice, and then you use the effect from Efficiency Committee twice (when scored).

Sincerely,
