Pawn cycle for additional draw on Exile's ability. Coupled with Clone Chip, John Masanori and Retrieval Run, Pawn installing Pawn can make for four draws in a single run. Most events are here to trigger Runs, which advance Pawn, which draws more cards which are Run events, is the theory. For a more detailed discussion of the deck, see my Blog post: http://daman-asha.livejournal.com/29307.html

That's correct, I only intend to install Pawns with other Pawns, from the trash, which is what triggers a recurring Exile ability draw engine. The blog post (http://daman-asha.livejournal.com/29307.html) discusses this in more detail and also notes the need for Deep Red in a revised version of the deck. This variant was an experiment to see whether the cycle would work in theory - how the Corp played against it, would they trash the Ice hosting Pawn rather than allow me to run the cycle, etc. |
Pawns can only install Caïssa pieces, you only have Pawns. Also without Deep Red you have to spend the click to host them each time. So sorry for being frank here, but I don't think the Pawns are worth it at all in this dek.
