Heavily inspired by this brilliant list that combines fast op econ with the draw power of R+ to create early opportunities for the Corp to score quick points, and then close out the game with a glacier anoetic void. I loved the premise, but I'm not a fan of glacier play, I prefer fast advancing! The game plan is fast and loose, draw econ, lose 3 pts of agendas in easy to exploit remote servers, activate sudden commandment, begin fast advancing!
Now of course, you're wondering, with 12 agendas, how do we stop the runner from getting our info?
We don't, but we don't want to! We want them to get all the info they want... up to their 3rd point, that is. Then we have to throttle them because they're over their bandwidth, and we have to meter their connection to provide the best service!
All the while, you'll be icing up, playing econ, and drawing boatloads of cards! Play the patient game, wait for the runner to get their 3rd point.
That's when you and your massive pile of credits from the ops you've been playing start scoring out!
Here's how:
The inspiration for this style of FA comes from a comment on Sudden Commandment pointing out that commandment into subliminal messaging is functionally a 3 credit draw 2 biotic labor. As it turns out, commandment into Greasing The Palm is also functionally a 2 credit draw 2 biotic labor. Greasing the Palm is also really nifty in that if the runner is ever unlucky enough to need to float a tag, it can FA without the commandment, or can FA Kingmaking with the commandment. The singular biotic labor and archived memories is a concession to the trash value of commandment. Sometimes you just gotta.
Now, I know what you're thinking: but what if the runner is playing patient?? How will I get to 3 points to start fast advancing?
If the runner isn't living up to their namesake, start scoring in your protected remote! Bait them with 1 pt agendas, make them take tag after tag, or score your points and then you're that much closer to 3!
The best bait is tomorrow's headline, you don't care who scores it because it grants a tag either way, and 2 points closer to FA!
Then Oracle Think Tank, make them take tags and waste time and credits, or take your info back. After giving them a reason to think twice before floating a tag, of course
Then superconductor hub, because if they don't bait, you get free cards and a bigger hand!
Beales and Kingmakings should get shuffled away or held, these will give you the greatest returns on Fast Advancing, and should not be used as bait.
Some things to be cautious of:
Tao - makes your weak ice a liability, trash them when you have something better
Imp - you go fast enough, spending a turn to avoid losing your FA tools is worth it
Decking yourself - sudden commandment always draws 2 first!
Have Fun!
