Disclaimer: This is a faceplant deck. If you don't like face checking ice (running at facedown ICE with no breakers installed) then this deck isn't for you. If you are a natural at taking ICE in the face then you might find this deck a reckless joy. I often run with no breakers or just a faerie or mongoose installed while playing this deck. You'll want to be running early and often or I find my hand gets clogged with events quickly. The good side of that is you have so many run events you don't have to save them!
I'm trying to come up with a competitive Ken deck now that Temujin exists. I'm also wondering if Ken might not be a 45 card deck. What I mean by this, is that each time I make a deck for the Ken ID i end up with anywhere between 47 and 54 cards. Is it possible that with all the good run events that are available that its more worth it to include an Emergency Shutdown enabling Feint, or a gaming winning Legwork than it is to play exactly 45 cards?
I thought I would mention an interesting (to me anyway=) sub game that I try to create while playing this deck. I often put the Temujin on Archives and HQ and I dare them to ICE HQ as much as possible. Most corps do this anyway when they see a criminal but with Feint, Temujin, Account Siphon, and Emergency Shutdown, the corp often just can't benefit from trying to keep you out of HQ. Not to mention this can leave their remote open to inside job or the R&D weak. Feint is a card that is typically weak in every build but here.....its not bad =)
Thanks to pang4 and ivanbarker for some great suggestions!
you can probably cut at least 1 eshutdown and a feint, that puts you within 1 card of the magic 45. Though, you should have 3 special order, so that puts you back at 47. 2 pub term is fine if you get to 45, so that could be 1 cut. Play it and find the last cut and you're solid on 45.
