Is it correct to throwback SanSan City Grid? Probably not.
Is it fun to throwback SanSan City Grid? Hell yes.
This hearkens back to SanSan CtM decks of old, except you now have a 5/3 in faction that you're not completely embarrassed to play, so you have 12 real influence. Being able to squeeze Tour Guide and Team Sponsorship into SanSan CtM feels like it should be illegal, which makes sense because it is.
There's absolutely nothing spicy about how you play this deck. You go fast, you jam aggressively, you score your 5/3s early if you can because they're tempo-neutral, and you rez your SanSans to duck Siphon or to punish a runner who made the utter dingus play of letting you have 8 credits ever, and now you have ARES so they stop being able to kill your board.
Honestly tho Breaking News is probably better so idk find a list with that shrugging emoji
This deck went 3-1 (I ID'd in round 4 due to sketchy matchups, lack of sleep, and excellent breakers). It won against UWC Sunny, Yog Kit, and Vamp Hoshiko, then lost against Pinsel's Geist. Turns out that dude is pretty good at Netrunner or something.
Props to Whiteblade for this tournament and format -- definitely want to see more of this in the future!
