Because a lot of people online have been asking for this decklist (at least not the ones leaving after 4 rounds), I decided to share it.
But first let's talk a bit about the NMWL and more important the new errata. Before the changes I was playing my "Burn them all" Gagarin. It was fun to play, but against a passive runner it could be slow. But the most impressive thing for me was the amazing Gagarin spam engine and I wanted to take that to my new deck.
*First of all Mumba Temple joined the MWL. Which is annoying because it's a vital part of the engine. Especially early game it saves you from a lot of trouble. Temple is irreplaceable so we'll have to cut 3 influence somewhere.
*Heritage shenanigans: We lost our most broken tutor. Damn, this is actually the biggest nerf to the deck. Especially for the kill deck where it served for both keeping you hand clean and drawing kill pieces. Without the combo, I'll have to play a second SEA in order to kill people and in combination with temple that's too much influence lost to be worth it.
*Museum unique: Urgh, more annoying stuff. It makes it harder to keep museum on the board so you cannot rely on the card too much. It also means that every turn you don't have a museum online or if you draw/lose one card outside of mandatory draw. Your deck is shrinking for good. So actually scoring agendas seems necessary in order to keep the density down. And last but not least it makes 2xSalem or Consulting into whatever you want trickier.
Because of all those changes I felt the need to swap to scoring. FA through MCC seems most consistent and it's nice because it's ifluence free. Having a backup plan to kill the runner would be very incosistent or eat up to much influence. So sadly, I'll have to let them live.
AGENDA
Nothing really crazy here. 8 Public agendas because I can FA those with MCC and a random 3-pointer to fill in the 22 points. I chose Hades to keep the dream of a second Museum alive but "The Cleaners" might be better in order to bait a plascrete. Also with al the FTE I don't really care about running real 3-pointers.
ASSETS
The standard good stuff out of Gagarin. Like I said in my previous deck, EBC is really good right now. It's amazing against indexing (and everybody is running that nowadays). It also helps vs Blackmail and DDOS and might save you some bucks on ICE with temple. Hostile is there against annoying runners who start to trash all your stuff or against Apocalypse. Sandburg is a new include, you tend to be so rich late game that it can totally lock out a runner. But even just installing it to get some pressure on the runner is enough to be worth it. CSM is probably the weirdest include, but it fills the gap that the uniqueness of museum made. Spamming diversified or Dedication Ceremony (on ICE or MCC) makes it really annoying and it gets out of control really quickly. And if your museum is busy you can also get your Heritage back without it being less efficient.
OPERATIONS
Heritage is still good!!! I tried DBS but it was too slow, it didn't give you the draw. Sensie is too expensive on influence so it's better to play Sensie on a stick. It gives you draw and keeps your hand clean(er). I decided to go tripple on both important operations instead of going with one-offs and consulting visit. The problem with Consulting is that those operations lose a lot of their efficiency when you have to tutor them in the early game. While drawing (or heritage) for diversified is always great even with only 4 remotes.
ICE
A combination of early and late game ICE. But with temple all of them are actually pretty easy to rez. Hadrian's and Ice Wall can be advanced by dedication Ceremony if you don't have a MCC (or already enough counters). Keep in mind that you can move counters from MCC to this ICE to screw up their calculations and stop the runner. I used to play Tyrant to laugh with Lady. But spiderweb does a similar thing and it's so much better early game. Magnet to stop slow parasites against sandburg and because Weyland's best code gate is Enigma. And Tour Guide because it's awesome. In combination with Sandburg it's almost GG.
This deck is not slow. I usually win my games around turn 12. If the runner focuses a lot on my assets it will slow me down ofc but they will lose tempo as well. It's more interactive and apparently also more fun to play against compared to the old kill version.
How do you beat this deck? Pack a lot of asset hate, or steal 4/5 points in the first couple of turns.
Now go spread the virus.

The problem with GFI is that I can't FA those like Hollywood. MCC sadly requires faceup agendas. I tried it with Consulting Visit and Casting Call, but that wasn't consistent enough. And even with sanburg it's still a lot more dangerous to score agendas in a remote. |

Indeed there isn't an opportunity to install clot after I installed the agenda if I don't advance it (I only use Paid ability to move counters). If they pre-install clot, just purge the good old way. I'm totally happy to trade Clone Chips for 3 clicks if that means less parasites and less Sharpshooters. |
Love it! Sandburg seems crazy powerful in here, especially with tour guides (parasite? nope). I could maybe see -1 Hades Fragment -3 Hollywood Renovation -1 magnet -1 CSM for +3 GFI +2 random 4/2 +1 ice wall. Avoid losing the game to random early accesses by forcing the runner to score 4 agendas to win the game. Sure there is FTE but it gets a lot weaker when the corp is not advancing agendas on the board so you can reliably use it.
