NEXTDesign RushToFastAdvance v2.0

Toobiased 2

This deck is a revolution of a deck I had been playing for a while before I switched to Weyland.

This version is heavily inspired by a deck played by mediohxcore at http://www.youtube.com/user/DargenioDan or at his stream (see on youtube).

My earlier version had even more ice but was lacking the late game punch. This version is really good late game since agendas scored early can strengthen your lategame.

Early game: given a good starting hand there should be no problem protecting your first remote server. Try to advance your first agenda without wasting too many resources.

Mid game: as long as you have some kind of a save server continue pushing agendas through. Also start defending your R&D better, you never want to be R&D locked. Also scoring Efficiency Comittee is really strong.

End game: this really depends on what you scored up to this point. Efficiency Committee enables Shipments from SanSan to fast Advance overadvanced Vitruvius Counter double as either additional Shipments or Biotic Labor or econ.

I am not sure yet if the Accelerated Beta Tests should be triggered I guess in this deck it depends on your gamestate (Versions 1.x had no fast advance but between 26 and 28 ice). Definetly trigger when you´re behind or you have a Jackson.

24 Ice so you get approximately 1.5 ice. 20/49 agenda points per card so you loose approximately 2/5 * 3 = 6/5 = 1.2 agenda points.

This should be OK in most situations. especially since your chance of hitting one of the bigger ice is about as high as hitting an agenda.

Actually I just read this article: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/25932/matchpoint-theory-rush-hybrids

Great read, it teaches us, that my agenda distribution is flawed. I still don´t want to change it since this would mean including either more agendas or three point agendas. More agendas is no option since I don´t want to cut anything and the three point agendas available to me don´t make a lot of sense for this deck. (I really don´t like PriReq, Government Contracts would be great)

Perhaps consider dropping 1x Pop-up to add 1x Jackson Howard. Jackson just helps with so many problems, it's hard to not run 3. Think of it this way, a deployed Jackson Howard makes activating accelerated beta test a 0 risk proposition. A good beta test can be game winning, and Jackson can help you pull it off. The same cannot be said about pop-up.

While a 3rd Howard would be greatly appreciated, I would not cut an ice for it. Maybe cutting a Shipment would be reasonable, but I have to test that some more. It would also be possible to replace an Ice Wall for a Paper Wall and cut an econ operation. I m not sure yet how tight credits are in this version.
