HQ Infiltrator

Koriath 3

Fact 1: Every agenda passes by HQ. Well, any agenda worth stealing. Fact 2: The biggest advantage the Corp has over the runner is information. They can keep their board hidden for a long time and keep the runner guessing.

So, while thinking about the first idea and making a Silhouette deck that over-specializes in HQ raiding to the point of being annoying, I curiously typed "expose" in the card search and tried to include as many of them as I could. Actually, I think I got them all. Which might be a problem for this deck. It's 60 cards. Half of them are events, so I don't think dead hands will be a thing, especially since half the events are free runs into remotes or extra spicy runs on HQ. If you're bored, hit R&D I guess.

First problem: card draw. Besides Deuces Wild, I don't think there's anything here to help with that. Not sure if I'd include it either. The deck is best at playing it slow, keep exposing and keep yourself informed. Negate scoring windows, not the scoring itself. After all, if a corp tries some funny business with an agenda on a single ICE server, you can just Inside Job your way in. That's actually the late-game plan. Keep the corp afraid of putting down agendas. Let them hoard two or three in HQ. Then hit them with Legwork + Pheromones + The Gauntlet. They won't see the Legwork coming (it's in your hand) and you better keep the Gauntlet in your hand as well. If they see the pheromones, they'll smell trouble, but if they see it with The Gauntlet they'll stack 5 ICE on HQ. Of course, you SPECIALIZE in HQ invasion so you win. Or they go for remotes and... yeah you do that too.

Haven't tested it enough to say anything about the econ. It's the standard Criminal thing, but there's no tag removal, which means that without some Deuces help, you're wasting almost an entire turn on tag removal. Luckly, you also benefit from passive HQ runs, so it's not an entire turn gone to waste.

Special note: I made this deck specifically for anti-glacier. Got a little tired of seing 5 remotes with 2 pieces of ICE each. So now I can Driveby most of the troublesome assets, S&W the Caprices and with the innermost ICE exposed, I can install the right breaker, bypass the outter one and nab wathever is in there.

Thoughts, opinions? I'm gonna head out this weekend to throughly test it.
