Went 2-2 at SW Regional. Single sided swiss so now I'm confused about who I met and what happened and if I even exist.

I think its first win was against a relatively newer player for whom this was a rather cruel thing to open a tournament against; think it got a Sting! off the table flatline.

First loss was my own fault for thinking I had the perfect kill with 2 False Leads and an advanced Clearinghouse but forgetting Lat draw existed. If I'd just waited a turn until we didn't have the same cards in hand or just didn't in the first place I think I could have won that.

Second win was Pinhole into a Snare! Sting! off the table kill.

Last loss of the day was down to both just the a real drought of traps, exact layup of the right agendas to lose off R&D, and basically flawless play from my opponent. That last bit being the real killer.

I'm not particularly enamoured of the playstyle anymore but my attempts to make "proper" decks got absolutely falttened by runner and I didn't want to go 0-4 on the day, or at least not do so without a fight. I'm reasonably happy with the build and I'd take it again to an event if I truly did not have a corp idea.

I would say however i never used the Active Policing and it always felt like the right thing to do to pitch it to Anemone which I think implies it should be traded for more influence; probably a second clearing House at least.

That Lat clutch was something else, ours was the most tense game I've had in a long time

Really enjoyable game! And I'll be telling the story of the Lat draw for ages; you were right that it was peak cool Netrunner - even if the story does hinge on me being wrong :D
