I wanted to show the game to a friend but I really don't like the Nisei Starter/Booster decks, so I made an easy to use deck for every main faction.

For these deck I wanted to stay close to the current standart pool (Standart Banlist 21.10) but if I knew of a easier to use card that's almost the same I took that (for example Viktor 1.0 instead of Hákarl 1.0 ). Also I put only 2 copies of most cards into the decks to be able to use more different cards.

This Deck

I would NOT recommand to play this deck against a beginner. After a few matches with my Weyland beginner deck this is a good deck to mix it up a bit or when your friend feels like taking a chellange. It also teaches importan lessons about damage.

This deck is mostly straight forward with a little bluffing involved.

The total of "unavoidable" damage is 10 (2x Snare! + 2x Fetal AI) of course there is more things that can go on. Roughly a quarter of the runners deck seemed fair.

Matchups (with my other Beginner decks)

Criminal -> Pros: Since the runner has a running econemy he might take a riks which allows you to trash important cards ... or just thanks to a random Snare!. Cons: Apart from bluffing and having a strong econemy there is not much you can do to gain the lead back if you lose it.

Shaper -> Pros: The runner will have to think twice about using all his multiaccess and thanks to Thimblerig you can mostly negate his ID ability. Cons: The runner can play with very little cards (basically Rezeki + his breakers) so damage will not hurt him as much as others.

Anarch -> Pros: Since the runner has no real recursion every damage really hurts. Cons: You have some good Ice against his breakers but not too many and they can get trashed.

Some notes to specific cards

La Costa Grid -> This is the main card in this deck with the idea to never advance cards in the turn that you install them so it's harder to guess if it's a snare or anything else.

Crick -> Since you have a lot of cards that you trash yourself the sub on this Ice will almost always be usefull.

Contract Killer -> Mostly for the damage only the Shaper deck has connections

Improved Protein Source -> This is the only 4/3 Agenda (and no influence) so even tho it helps the runner the synergy with La Costa Grid is great.
