Dutch Nationals PE 12th place

This is the deck I brought to the dutch nationals. I ended up going 2-3 with it, my runner (kate) went 4-1, carrying me to the 12th place.

The 11 players placed above me after swiss all played NBN except for 1 lonely ETF. It was fun running PE in a big tournament, I love this version a lot because it bleeds the runner out. Because this is such a weird deck; ill write a small tournament report.

Match 1: vs Maxx

I got setup as well as I could, I brought my fresh set of cardboard tokens and brought my clicktracker and actioncard (I also dont play on a mat). Hoping he would underestimate me and make mistakes. To bad for me he didn't make mistakes, he siphoned me a few times while I scored out a naked Gila hands. After some turns he was set-up to mill me down while siphoning me to 0 every turn. He was on 4 agenda's and 5 points with all IHW in the bin, so I put down a naked Philotic and gained 3. He just siphoned me again and milled some card, running on archives, stealing the game winning points. To bad I couldn't cheese him out with a philotic score.

Match 2: vs Whizzard

He started setting up, digging for eater/keyhole and probably some more nasty stuff. He played inject and discarded Femme, Keyhole and another program I forgot. He drew a retrieval run with that same inject. I decided to put down 3 agenda's, which one of was a chronos project. He injected again the next turn and played Eater. I scored and removed all the nasty stuff in his heap. This was starting to look good :) After this he used planned assault for siphon and he got me down to 0, the next few acceses on RnD(after deja vu/siphon) gave him 3 agendas, hitting philotic. Two runs later he stole a Fetal AI, putting him on gamepoint. He sniped the last one out of HQ.

Match 3: vs CT-Vamp

He started out slowly, I scored house of knives turn two, hitting his Vamp. I slowly chip away at his decksize, scoring some agendas and giving some away. Bringing us to a 3/3 score. Hitting a snare and some hokusai triggers bring him down to 4 cards in hand and no cards in his stack. After he hits a Fetal I can finish him off with neural EMPs. (my first win with PE, I hoped to win atleast one game)

Match 4: Dyper Kate

He gets setup and I know I have to threaten something scary fast. I mulliganed for a hand with house of knives in it and had the luxury to have two. Turn two I put down 3 agendas, he ignores them all and keeps putting down hyperdrivers and stuff. I manage to score 2 House of Knives, which is scary for him. I also discarded 3 shocks, just for fun. I put down a jackson behind a quandary, unrezzed. When he finally starts to combo, his first click is quality time (probably for DDOS or councilman I thought.) I forget rezzing my jackson and next click he plays councilman. He was on 2 credits after playing DDos so it would have taken him two of his comboclicks to get rid of Jackson... He keyholes the crap out of me and has trouble finding enough points. I fire my House of knives counters at him, and he has to use sports hopper. In the second last run he finds the last point he needs, and he has just enough cards in hand to survive 5 PE triggers. If I was more careful I would have rezzed Jackson after he started his combo, and that would have given me a better chance at winning.

Match 5: Andy (with all the good stuff)

He plays andy with Passport/Zul and Mongoose as breakers. I score out a naked Gila hands turn two, which gives me enough econ for the rest of the game. He gets taxxed out a lot by Aiki's on my centrals, since he only has passport to break them. He used Femme on an unrezzed aiki to secure the Siphon hit, still pretty taxing :D Aiki MVP. He poked around HQ alot hitting Hokusai some times. He also ran on 2 naked Shocks. In the end he didnt have any cards left in his stack, and only 3 points. He runs HQ and finds a Fetal, getting the last cards out of his hand. Neural EMP does its job.
