Lat must have worked with Sunny somewhere.
Here is my take on using Security Nexus with Shapers.
Breaker wise, Chameleon, Engolo and Boomerang will do that part. Security Nexus will be the main focus here. But Gebrselassie will ensure the runs with Engolo will stay cheap. All this will make you very efficient at running.
Credit wise, there is Sure Gamble, Aesop's Pawnshop + Harbinger, Beth, Daily Cast, Rezeki and Pro.Co. Pro.Co is important for lat, because you want to draw to match the corp, getting a free draw in the process.
Artist Colony + Fan Site will act like a super Self Modifying Code. Allowing you to get anything you lack, without any added cost. Early, a Rezeki will bring nice dividend. Late, it could be a missing Boomerang, Gebrselassie or Cybertrooper Talut. If it is too late to use it, Artist Colony and Fan Site can be fed to Aesop for a cool 3 creds each.
Harmony AR Therapy gives you insurance to not lose too much in case of damages. Also, it will help long game with recurring Harbinger, Daily Cast, Sure Gamble and Khusyuk.
Multiaccess wise, it is a Khusyuk deck. This is the only multiaccess you have. It is good only from midgame onward, but it can let you see easily 25% of what left of R&D.
With Diesel, Pro.Co and Lat, drawing is not really an issue. This is not a very fast runner, but there are tools that help, like Boomerang.
Finally, Direct Access will save you a lot of problem against many corps. CTM will not trigger a tag and Replicating Perfection will be useless against you. It is an underated card that should be used much more often.
Cheers.

Here what I will try : -1 Gebrselassie, -1 Engolo, +2 Q-chip (it could bring the total of 0 cost cards to 10). This should also solve the Khusyuk problem you mention. To be fair, I've only rarely ran more than once a turn. I also agree about Takobi. It would probably bring a better value for my case, since I run about once or twice a turn. But my thinking was this : I aim to bypass ices, it will then build token quite slowly. Of course, the best combo would have the two on the board :-) Thanks for the advice, I'll try it out and tell you about it. Cheers. |

@Baa Ram Wu You have a good point here, for the 6 MU. I was counting on the fact that usually, I'll get only 2 Rezeki installed. And slots are tight. But still, I am MU starved here. To add to this, a full program install goes up to 7 MU, with Misdirection. Here what I will try : -1 Gebrselassie, -1 Engolo, +2 Akametsu. This should partly solve the Khusyuk problem you mention. I am testing currently 2x Guru Davinder (GD) instead of 2x Direct Access (DA). DA is very good against problematic corp ID like Jinteki RP and NBN CTM. But Guru Davinder could protect me from heavy damage like punitive, obotaka (I guess), ronin and city work project. Also, I got completely shutdown by a player using this against my Weyland Corp, which made me admirative of this rather old card. Funny game story : a player pulled Limes World Corp Winner deck, and I pulled Artist Colony by turn 3. It was brutal. Complete shutdown of the corp gameplan. Good times. |
Nice idea for a deck here - a couple of suggestions i have though.
You need at least 1 akamatsu memchip as your idea rig - 3x rezeki, 1 engolo, 1 chameleon will take up 6 MU
Khusyuk maybe isnt a the best choice of multi access for this deck - You just about have 6 installable 2 cost items but that is only if you get your chameleon down - You may find yourself better off playing R&D interfaces - this gives you a good excuse to play modded too which could help with the install price of Nexus & Engolo
I really like the chameleon include here as it is particularly good in a deck where you want to install cybertrooper for the Link!
You also may find that takobi is a better tool than Gebreselassie in a deck like this as you only have one thing that can be boosted (engolo) and it's one of the most efficient breakers to boost so the value is questionable. (also Takobi is another 2 cost for your khyshuks!)
