Pre-rotation decklist |
My RP deck that went 5-3 overall in Store Championships. This deck has some more ETR ice than a typical RP deck would like to have , and that did hurt me in some matchups. But this list was teched against a lot of the new anarch decks that I anticipated seeing at the tournament.
To my surprise , there wasn't that many Eater/Keyhole decks flying around , and there was more shaper than I thought there would be.
Wraparound , Architect , and Crisium Grid are purely there for tech against Eater/Keyhole decks. Wraparound is very solid against Eater decks that aren't packing knights (or are light on them). Eater decks tend not to run Corroder , so it's always 7 str in that matchup. Architect is there to protect my sentries from being forked. Plus architect can randomly get fired to get me a jackson or a crisium grid when I need it. It's saved my life a few times against new Anarch decks.
Crisium Grid is just a good card , so there is really no reason not to run it , other than deckslots. Grid held off a KitVamp deck for me in the grand finals for the win. Thanks Grid. I think I'll call it "Good Guy Grid" from now on.
Caprice goes on HQ against New Anarch. Trust me , you want it there. If they can't hit a siphon or a wanton , it really hurts their tempo. Good Guy Grid is usually on RnD to stop keyhole for a while.
Standard fare otherwise. Burst into your drip econ. Force the runner to trash your economy , while you're setting up your scoring remote. Slap Ash/Caprice in the remote and start scoring while you're ahead in tempo.
Side note : I do know that all of my sentries get broken by mimic , but not every deck is going to be perfect.. and I know this deck is far from that. But it won me games when it mattered. MaxX was my runner though , and her going 7-0 is what really won me the tournament.
