I played this deck to a 4-1 finish at the most recent GLC event in Chicago (16 players).

There are 2 main reasons you should sleeve this deck up and play it: 1) This deck creates hilarious and difficult situations and decisions for the runner because of the bizarre card choices. 2) NET POLICE. If you've got any Nexus Kates in your meta or Hayleys/Geists with their stupid replicated cars giving them link, you just might actually turn one of the most useless cards FFG has ever printed into a genuine headache for the runner.

CtM is, as everyone already knows, an astoundingly powerful ID. You can easily makes loads of money, threaten a midseasons, and score out quickly. But why do all those things in the most efficient way possible--and leave yourself open to proper counterplay--when you could win games by playing cards that even good players often forget exist--like Mumbad Virtual Tour, Dedicated Response Team, and Red Herrings?

This deck lost to a MaXx DLR deck because I got siphoned before I could rez a tollbooth over HQ, but won all the other games in hilarious fashion. In round 3, I killed an Andromeda by rezzing 2 DRTs and pumping the trace from my ID after she was forced to trash the Mumbad Virtual Tour in the root of R&D. One opponent was killed by a surprise Snare! accessed from R&D. I psychgraphics-ed a 7-point Beale a very long time after a midseasons convinced an opponent to go tag-me. And an Old Hollywood Grid that I got for free from a License Acquisition + 2 red herrings let me score out my last points because this deck kept the runner poor all game. It's not just that this deck dominated, but that it did so weirdly that makes me so happy.

Although I never saw the Restructured Datapool all day, I'll probably cut it for a 4/2 of some flavor and trade an upgrade for a third License Acquisition because that card does work. If I didn't have such an unreasonable attachment to Net Police, I would probably go down to one and play a tech startup to find it in the matchups where it would be relevant. The 2x Surveillance Sweeps were helpful all day, both for their innate ability and as a counter-spell to Employee Strike.

Personal insults and comments about unrelated subjects are welcome.

Oh! I just played this deck with a Hemorrhage Tenma monstrosity. I liked the Bernice Mai include. Does beating the trace trigger the NBN: Controlling the Message trace?

@inniscor CtM doesn't fire off Bernice: Ctm fires when the runner trashes the card, but Bernice is trashed by the Corp, given that the wording is directed at the Corp player.

I've been playing Red Herrings in CtM since it was spoiled and I will not take it out! Nothing is more satisfying than getting 5 credits from Explode-a-palooza twice!!!

Excellent deck name. I miss NEARPAD and this is giving me NEARPAD feels.

How about Prisec over Bernice Mai? Combos awesomely with DRT and Snare!, and isn't unique (so no problem with Rumor Mill.)

@EnderA great idea. Blood money wasn't legal for this event, but I'll add them now.
