Opening a new line of jinteki decks, Ricin hopes to deal as much damage as possible, much of it coming from R&D. Shiro helps you look into R&D and throw painful things at the runner. The ice is designed to be painful without breakers, and ichi's are in the mix to hopefully snap some off. Lots of on-access pain.
Punitive works great if they steal TFP or a handful of agendas. On that note, overdrawing with jackson and stuffing shocks and Shi Kyus and some agendas into the trash early helps level out your draws, and turns on susanoo-no-mikoto for a gross archives redirect. 3 agendas 2 shocks and a shikyu, followed up with a punitive...no win situation!
One problem I'm addressing in v.002 is that no traps are advanceable, so TFP can only be scored as a bluff, unless the runner can be tricked into not stealing it out of fear.
Overall I aim to dish out enough damage to hit important cards, and slow the runner down to a snail's pace.
Excited to land a ShiKyu powered philotic entanglement flatline (adds 1 damage for each ShiKyu).

Works better in always advance, I don't run junebug or CO in this, so I don't think its worth slotting. Sure it'll work because junebug and CO exist, but if the runner calls my bluff of not having advanceable traps, then I'm hosed (unless I want to waste 2 clicks installing and advancing a non-advanceable trap I guess) |
Have you considered Mushin no Shin to hide your traps and help with the Agenda bluffing?
