I created this deck for a beginner's competition at Dark Sphere in London that required decks made from 1 core + 1 deluxe expansion.
The ultimate strategy is to get everything iced up and use Tennin to advance agendas quickly, hopefully getting a free cred from NeoTokyo Grid. If the ice doesn't come out your way then focus on getting a single strong remote server iced up and try to advance the 2 point agendas through quickly and hope the Psi-games go your way with FP (pro-tip - always bet 2 if you can, runners are cheap-skates!)
Scoring a PR is a great way to get that scary-looking Susanoo out, and a dream move is to Susanoo someone into an ice with komainu or a neural katana waiting for them.
Money can be a problem with this deck, but building some solid ice and pumping a melange can definitely give you what you need to pay for all the big ice.
The zaibatsu is just a left-over from pre-empting a lot of infiltration at the beginners tournament, though that didn't really happen. I've left it in there as a junky card that can trick a runner into running on a heavily iced server just to find the zaibatsu.
Talking about tricks, I adore Mushin No Shin. Getting a Mushin, an agenda and an ice-wall or wall of static in the first turn is always great as it almost guarantees you a score. Another use is to use it to stick an agenda, junebug or aggressive secretary out unprotected and dare the runner to come at it. I'm not sure if the junebug and AS are even necessary for the deck or whether the threat of them is enough!
Anyway, I'm sure there's a few places the deck could be tweaked and optimised, but I find that it actually performs pretty damn well on OCTGN against all the new cards and I find it super fun to play, as I never know how I'm going to play until I get my opening hand. I've had games with 4 or 5 remote servers up with 1 agenda among snares and junk. I love Jinteki and I love this deck - I hope someone else likes it too!
