Professional Contacts is a good economy engine, and Desperado + Datasucker applies pressure to most servers and makes runs more worthwhile.
Includes SMC for program searching, and with Clone Chip, Atman, and Parasite, you have flexible solutions to ICE, like setting Atamn to exactly the strength you need, or recurring Parasite (and spending Datasucker tokens) to trash an ice you can't break.
The economy might be a little weak, but hopefully you can Parasite enough ice that it wont be too much of a problem, and Desperado should help out.
Lacks HQ pressure. Modern Kate decks include Legwork, and I think a Nerve Agent or a HQI (if they were in the card pool) would be a good include. Alas, twas not meant to be.
Desperado & Datasucker put a little bit of pressure on HQ (and archives), and Escher may do some work too!
Obviously the Plascretes won't be needed against the HB deck this is meant to be paired with (http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/29328/hb-untrashable-glacier-w-core-wla-ta-and-c-c#) but if I recall correctly having ~2 dead card slots in case you played against Weyland was just part of the game at the time.
