Aaand V3!
V2 was a solid deck, and played well - with two notable problems.
1) Drawing was a ridiculous tempo hit.
2) Vamp did not work as well as I'd hoped.
It's not that vamp is a bad card - but to make this deck work, you've got to constantly be running. The corp MUST rez cards, you MUST be trashing ICE, and you've got to be pounding the centrals repeatedly to dig through cards and see what interesting things are laying there, being interesting.
Card adjustments add some flapjack dancing (Chronotype + Wyldside) to get some click compression on drawing, while Comet speeds up event play. Day job has been minimized, and the PPVP has been replaced with Data Folding, which offers far more substantial benefit (and click compression).
It's just.. more streamlined. Draw lots, play lots of (hopefully freeish) events with the free credits you're pulling from data folding each turn, and run hard and often on the central servers. Quetzal's ability will allow you to simply punch through barriers, eater will protect you when face-checking ice (and will allow you to destroy pesky ICE in your way), and Crypsis will allow you to get through things you can't quite destroy for a (fairly) reasonable price.
Unlike the last version, which sought break efficiency, this version is looking for other ways to save time, compressing card draw, money, and events.
I feel like a 1 of Mimic is a little necessary - seeing as you have no win condition if anyone drops a single Swordsman on the field - and you can't (somehow) scum it to death with an Immolation Script.
Looks amusing though, for sure. :)
