An Exploration of Throwback format: ‘Kram out a Beale’

Baa Ram Wu 2245

I'm going to be posting a decklist a day looking at the interesting side of Throwback Format deckbuilding.

What is Throwback Format?? Simply put it's Standard but you can add 1 full playset of a rotated card OR play with a rotated ID - Eric aka Whiteblade is running a Charity Tournament on the 5th using this tournament! More info here - https://www.hemophiliamb.ca/events/netrunner-tournament/

Now please feel free to stick 3x Account siphon into your reg 419 or Caprice Nisei into your Jinteki Glacier but if you could just wake me up afterwards from the coma inducing slumber you have put me in due to your unimaginitve deckbuilding!!

Today we are throwing all our eggs into one basket with:

Kramming out a Beale

Throwback Card: Matrix Analyser

Inspired by Krams Decklist which in turn was based on Mpascall's 13 Reason's why Not deck

It plans purely to win off getting 13 advancement counters on your ice, putting down 2 Beales and playing Red Planet Couriers on the unstolen one next turn. You need to look at the game plan as a race - You need to aquire 13 advancements before the Corp can score 5 points (you do still have a play when they are on 5 points but its based a lot on luck then!) News teams and Siu / Exchange are there as tools to slow the runner down as much as possible.

The ice suite is there to protect centrals and either is advanceable, generates advancement counters or makes you money (in the case of Akhet - All Three!!!) You want to make HQ unattractive to run to enable DRM. Use an early ice wall or Akhet to jam Rashida's behind.

Rashida and Attitude adjustment will help you draw for your pieces whilst keeping your Beales hidden in R&D.

The only agenda you really care about scoring outside of your super beale is The Future is now if you need to tutor for a piece - otherwise agendas can be installed naked or shuffled back in with AA

CVS is there as protection against Imp.

Mulligan for an advanceable ice and get it down turn one - nothing worse than a runner hitting an award bait or approaching a Matrix Analyser and having no targets!

Be careful of Ice destruction - don't leave your heavily advanced ice open to hippo's and if you suspect parasite then best to rack up counters on an unrezzed ice (no one plays En Passant anymore right??) Oh and you straight up lose to Apoc - sorry bout that!

Oh my god, another list that is named after me :O

Just one copy of RPC and just one copy of any tutor (future) seems risky, but wow, I love the Matrix Analyzer :D
