Mwanza Plus - 2nd @ Boston GNK Jank Night

This GNK was a special version of the Boston meta weekly meetup. In honor of some community stalwarts leaving the scene, we wanted to have a fun send off. There were prizes for the coolest/best/most interesting jank decks, and I had a ton of fun seeing the new cards in action. This was the first event I helped run, and I can't wait to do it again.

This deck was not the best or the jankiest of the night, but sure was entertaining. With 3 Snares! 3 Beholds! 3 Oracles Thinktanks, and 1 Tomorrow's Headline, nearly a quarter of the deck are traps that give tags if you hit them. Give the runner some help with a Mwanza, and now an RND run or two could win either of you the game on the spot! It definitely stole me some wins, and with less tag removal in the game, removing those tags is a huge econ hit. Virtual Service Provider was the workhorse of the deck too. This deck falls to slower, richer, and more patient runners (who can get their decoders down early). It doesn't have a great scoring pattern and would rather kill with Mindscaping.
