Run lots! Make money! Win games! Maxx is the strongest runner right now and the Skorp matchup isnt quite as bad as you'd think.
This is an aggressive Maxx built I constructed for the local meta where I expected to run into more CTM decks and less CI. Using Slums, Hacktivist, and Citadel Sanctuary, I was able to easily control the game against CTM and other decks that ran assets or upgrades such as ASA Group.
My personal play-style favours controlling games by leveraging an economic advantage and Day Job proved to be consistently excellent throughout the day- more than adequately serving its purpose of allowing me to keep on top of the econ war no matter how many other econ cards I milled.
I made a judgement call that after you add a 46th card to your Maxx deck, going up to 48 is effectively the same as all three fall within the parameters of a single Maxx draw. I never felt like I was going too slow or what I needed was just a card or two away so I don't regret it.
Tech Choices: Maxwell James was a last minute tech choice to make matchups against Fairchild3 a little bit more favourable but I never drew into it and it didn't seem necessary. It could easily be a second copy of The Turning Wheel- allowing for additional multiaccess later on in the game. Legwork was consistently great, on more than one occasion scoring me two points turn one against corps that left HQ unprotected, not expecting me to run there. Spooned saved the day, allowing me to trash Miraju and sucessfully win a game off indexing. I prefer Femme over Aumakua as I feel charging up turtle counters is often too slow and Retrieval Run for Femme is consistently very powerful.
The meta is is a really fast place right now and I never once levied in all five games I played.
