I've been mainlining a Headlock Reina Keyhole deck since Order and Chaos was released, it's gone through lots of iteration and is highly effective. However, I still find that even with 3x Earthrise Hotel, 3x Vigil and 2x I've Had Worse, she lacks the pace and pressure to be a real threat to the Corp's bottom line or their agendas in maybe 25% of games, just for her draw.
My time with Reina taught me that Xanadu is a bit crap for her - it's a tempo hit you can rarely afford (it doesn't tend to pay for itself in Corp expense in my experience) and all it does is basically the same as what Reina does anyway, so it doesn't aid at all in maintaining the headlock. But now we have Career Fair for a mere 1 influence, which could put Xanadu on the table for free, and also helps out with Reina econ mainstays Liberated Account and (less efficiently) Kati Jones, so the tempo hit isn't so much of an issue.
So here's the theory:
Use MaxX's relative pace and consistency plus Xanadu and Career Fair to play Reina outside of Reina.
I've put in the oldschool Corroder/Mimic/Yog/Datasucker suite here rather than lots of Eaters and Knights for two reasons.
1) Because I'm seeing Turing and Wraparound quite frequently in my local meta, which can be frustrating to a Reina denial plan (Swordsman is no problem for Parasite).
2) Because Datasucker can make better use out of my 3x Deja Vu. I am running Grimoire for much the same reason.
I may also attempt this with my Reina's normal rig, in which case you would see -2 Grimoire, -1 I've Had Worse, -1 Corroder, -1 Mimic, -1 Yog, -1 Datasucker -1 Hacktivist Meeting (which I'd be real sad to lose :( ) +2 Lamprey, +2 Vigil, +2 Eater, +2 Knight.
