This is an update to my relatively successful deck Cache Cow v2.05.
Bank Job is an attempt to counter the popular NEH/Turtlebacks/Team Sponsorship deck and is a replacement to Armitage Codebusting. 9 credits for 2 clicks is awesome (Install for 1, run take 7, sell to Aesops) and I don't need 3 Prepaid Voicepads out.
In order to make room for the 3 Bank Job, Parasite has gone (sad times), Drug Dealers have gone and Corroder has been replaced by Lady (more things to sell). This has also required a rejig to include a couple of Scavenge. May need to reduce to 2 Bank Job and include a Clot (although Cyberdex almost makes Clot worthless I have found).
Otherwise it is the same money fest with strong breakers and lots of multi-access.
Description of Cache Cow v2.05
I came first at the Gloucester Games Bunker Summer Game Night Kit Tournament in August 2015. Cards legal up to Old Hollywood. There were 12 attendees and this deck went 4-0 (corp went 3-1), playing one BABW Rush deck and 3 ETF FA decks. Previous iterations of this deck (same breaker suite, same economy package) got me 3rd place in two Store Championships this year (40 attendees and 20 attendees).
The idea behind the deck is to make lots of money and get into servers with pumpable breakers. I cannot state enough the amount of money this deck ends up making.
Looking at some of the card choices:
Breakers: Atman, Corroder, Femme, Gordian, Mimic and Sharpshooter have been my breaker suite of choice for some time now. It is pretty flexible and can deal with most threats with relative ease, particular given the economy.
Economy: Aesops, Armitage, Daily Casts, Kati Jones, Cache, Sure Gamble (yes thats 17 economy cards) makes a lot of money. Enough said. CacheShop is a brilliant economy package. Aesops makes everything better.
Multi Access: Legwork is still my favourite HQ pressure card, particular given the bursty nature of the deck. 2 Makers, 2 R&DI gives me the early bursty pressure and late game sustained pressure.
Draw: Diesel and Drug Dealer. Drug dealer is the star of the show, particularly given all my cash, and the fact I can turn it off with Aesops. I will often install the second, draw 2 cards then sell it before it triggers next turn. That's a click for a card and 2 credits.
Other Cards: - Plascrete: I live in the UK. We like to kill each other. Enough said. And no, film critic would not be a good replacement - butcher shop decks in our meta run 2 Midseasons/2 Sea Source ;) - Same Old Thing: extra multi-access is always good. - SMC: I'm playing shaper, enough said. - Parasite: I hate NEXT ice
I did have Clot in the deck; I dropped it for the 2 Drug Dealer (which were formally Earthrise Hotel). It did make the HB FA games closer than they could have been, but I can set up a pretty fierce R&D lock. Not sure if I will still be quick enough vs. NEH,
