Pre-rotation decklist |
This is the deck that I took to a 3rd place finish at the Wasteland Store Championship in Duluth, GA on January 29th, 2017. I just played BogBoy's Sleeper Hold deck for corp, nothing fancy there.
I didn't really know what to play the night before the tournament -- nothing really was interesting to me, except for a 1.1.1.1 twist on the classic Katman archetype that I've been stewing over that used 1 Core, C&C, Blood Money, and Sifr. So I decided to do some quick improvements to make it not 1.1.1.1 and I just took that.
It honestly could use a lot of improvement, but Sifr is a good card so it turned out alright. I could drop a Datasucker for a 3rd Clone Chip, for starters. Also, I could just run 1 Atman and no suckers and then more normal breakers + Opus to fit in more Parasites. But I didn't feel like being hyperscum, so I just stuck to Temujin.
I don't think I ever had more than 2 Atmans installed at a time. Actually CyCy turned out to be MVP in multiple games, with so many people banking on Lotus Field right now. I almost brought Clot instead of Parasite but came to my senses at the last minute. It would still be a nice include if you switched to a non-Temujin econ to free up influence.
The basic idea is very Shaper: get your RDIs and R&D lock with cheap R&D runs. Atman 0 is a hero, and install whatever other Atmans you need to if you need more than 1. Use Datasucker to adjust strength as needed. Standard Katman stuff.
I never needed Levy on the day, but I kept it in case of grindy PU matches that I might face. You can probably drop it for something else if you want.
Enjoy!

Parasite is the Swordsman plan. Sac Con is mostly to deal with Sifr destruction, but in a pinch it can save Atman as well to give me time to set up the Parasite. |

Looks very close to the list I came up with a couple weeks ago! Nice to see that we were on fairly similar pages. |
