It's like trying to speed with a Tank. You can't see where you're going but once you start moving, you can't be stopped. Anyone who tries will be hurt.

So this is the Argus deck I brought to the Calgary Store Championship (March 2016), alongside my Whizzard deck. It's a bit of a late posting for me. I went 6-1 overall before double eliminations, losing once with this deck. I did poorly in double
After-Action-Report
Played a Kit/Titan –> Nothing special. Dropped down to 3 cards, so a single Scorch after a SEA Source was all that was needed. Whizzard also won.
Played a Maxx/Chronos Protocol -> Shattered Remains to knock out the second plascrete (1st gone to repeat meat damage from Ability), and then they snagged an agenda from archives, opting for the 2 meat damage. Turn then ends with 3 cards, so a SEA Source into a Scorch win. Whizzard lost. Swapped with Turntable 2 pointers for fully loaded House Knives. Didn't wanna die, and instead helped the corp score out.
Played a Hayley/NBN MN -> Mulliganed into an agenda, a piece of ICE, a Jackson Howard, a SEA Source and a Scorch. First turn was install ICE, and click for 2 credits. Second turn was install Howard, draw a card, and click for a credit (8c). Runner steals two agendas on this turn, then clearing both tags, leaving them at 4 cards and zero creds. Mandatory draw is my second scorch, so SEA Source, Scorch, Scorch, having just enough credits. They were furious, understandably so. Whizzard won as well. Corp drew an ice (Pop-up), Parasited it. All he had was an interns, so parasited it again. and Again. Got the win tho.
Played a Ken Tenma/Blue Sun-> Power Shutdown on an Endless Hunger, got some time to score out a few agendas, was tense but they had 2 crash spaces. Could not get the kill or the score out, only loss overall. Blue Sun got a lucky win, snagging 2 agendas off R&D, in the same turn. Wooo. Tied for First place in Calgary Store Championship Exhausted, and went into Double Elim - Ended up in 3rd. \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
Pilot Tips, Playstyle, Changes, and Discussion
Fairly Self Explanatory deck in terms of playstyle. Always something to install and advance. Basic gear check ice as well, and a couple tricks to knock out the plascretes (like a profiteering into a taurus).
In terms of changes, I'd probably cut the Data Raven, but I'm not sure what I'd replace it with. I never drew it once in the whole tournament. Maybe I'd exchange it for an Ash, to help leverage the cash to help score through that final agenda. Deck space is very tight even though I think a Psychic Field could do some work.
Other than that, remember speed is the key, always sit at least at 4 credits, and keep installing cards. It's not just a race to 7 points, because even though the runner may snag the first agenda, or two, or three that you install, Eventually their decisions each turn may leave you an opening to punish them, or it'll force them to back off to "re-fuel" or set-up, giving you a chance to score a few points, which will give you cash, false leads to leverage into 2 pointers late game or a kill, or just the secret card you need (SEA Source or Scorch) with your tutors.
Oh, That reminds me (it's been a while since the tournament, and should have published this earlier), swapping the Data Raven for a 2nd SEA Source is something I think I would do in the future. That way, you can always "pump-fake" an early SEA Source, again to drain their credits to give you an opening, or just to give them a tag to destroy some economy resources, financial or draw based.
Enjoy, and hopefully once Judge comes out, I'll have a Regionals winning Argus deck to flaunt.
