Prelim testing shows this rig gets up fast and gets the job done. Can make 1 run for sure, two runs if the ICE is right.
So far, gets a good rig in a few turns and can start pressuring on centrals. Can run thru most remotes without problems. Needs precision timed runs - no recklessness. Half the cards cost 1 credit, so every turn put something out; no hiding breakers or resources with this rig. Never go below 2-3 credit (see Hades shard below).
Get Mag/baby out, draw/credit up and Mag up - load up while building a rig [draw-money/play/ play /mag]; Once you have a Ghost & an SMC out, its gametime. Use stealth creds to boost and use the reg credits to break subs;
The Rig:
MemChips- you need 3-4 MU for breakers, 2 for MagOp and 2-3 for Cloaks.
BOX-E- increase MU to +2 and gives a +2 hand size for anti meat and net damage.
Replicators - the card that makes this setup shine; Drop it and get the other cards out. Since most cost 1 credit, its drop, replicate the 2nd and drop it for 1 credit.
2 silencers: I tried 3 (too many) but 2 seems to be the magic spot. With 2 on dagger you can run thru 2 killers back to back. If you hit nasty sentrys switchblade is there.
2 Lockpicks: Again, 2 is magic - boosts refractor for +3 and gets thru most code gates with a boost, break break (with credits).
3 RDI: The homerun card. With Replicator out, you drop it on click one, drop another on click 2 and run click 3 looking at 3 cards. Next turn you can take 4 credits, drop the 3rd and look at 4 cards forever. Vs all but blacktree, this is the nail in the coffin for most corps.
Hades Shard: take 6 and drop it on click 4 when the corps just dumped cards via jackson. Esp if you are on 2-4 points. No Psi games in Archives.. just 4 credits for NAPDs.. keep that in mind.
Breakers: - KILLERS: Dagger/ SB: use stealth to boost up; SB is nice vrs jenteki. Dagger is good all around for 1-2 sub ice. Pick dagger over blade, but good to have a backup plan - DECODER: Refractor- best codegate breaker next to G-Blade. Same as above- boost and break with combo stealth and credits as needed. - FRACTER: Lady/ Corroder- best of both worlds: can break low barriers and big barriers as needed. considered getting BRam but it takes too much MU. Had blackcat but was not efficient and took too much stealth creds to be effective. - ATMAN: Seems to be the perfect 4 STR breaker: I will blindly set to 4 90% of the time; most decks have Eli and Ichis. Vs Butchershop, set to 2. Info overload
possible changes: - Clot: excellent vrs HB/NBN FA decks. Can recur as needed. - DeusX - the anti Jenteki card. - NetReady eyes makes breakers better all around.

With Magnum as your credit econ, I think draw would be more useful that sure gamble. I would suggest swapping those out for 3 x earthrise hotel. Every click you have to manually draw is like 2 credits lost since with 3 x smc and 3 x magnum you have a pretty good chance of getting it out in first few round. I'd also probably a plascrete and 1 akamatsu for 2 quality times (which help you find the remaining memory and plascretes). |
