WT60

I've tried to build a few World Trees decks and they come out to ~60 cards each time. Played a few games and it feels fine. Someone please convince me 60 is incorrect.

Some things I've liked so far:

  • Mayfly + Flameout is the GOAT. Being able to contest remote AND fetch a breaker for the ice that was just rezzed is such a flex.
  • You can play 1x of the best and weirdest resources that would never see play but are now viable. Like 1x proco? Sure, in the right matchup that might be first up.
  • 6 cost for WT is steep, but it's workable
  • Fetching your 1/2x endurance AND getting the counter is legit.
  • you can brew anything with WTWu
  • DJ Steve on demand

Some things I don't have confidence on yet.

  • do you play DZMZ? Cyberdelia is more value over time but you would actually install a DZMZ out of hand if you need MU
  • Harbinger doesn't make sense since you don't care about selling the facedown. It's a draw with reaver later I'm the game though. Flux capacitor or like even upya could be fine, just need things to Wu and out and run.
  • Stargate? Is this the best win con still? Might be tough with MU.
  • Tech writer could be fire.
  • Env testing could actually be big

So far I'm glad it doesn't suck! Happy deckbuilding to all the pot smoker shapers out there.

If you’re not loving the Harbingers could I also suggest a copy or two of Hush! Seems to do a lot for a little card and is perfect to sell on!

Into the Depths tutors programs later than SMC. World Tree also is delayed tutoring (which is why Flame Fly is important, as you said). But if you have World Tree and then you Wu out Harbinger or another zero- or one-cost program, you can tutor out a program for a three-credit discount instead of two extra credits as SMC requires. You can’t use it in the run until after you’re successful, but that is HUGE savings—like the difference between getting the Simulchip discount and paying the SMC premium.

Played a few more games. Reaver & Harbinger is out.

The Class Act and filtered draw seems more important. You really want to sequence your draws with WorldTree so 5 inf on Class Act might be critical for the deck to be more consistent.
