An update of my Temujian Man list, dropping the Patrons for Fan Sites, Artist Colony and Quality Time to improve the flexibility. Slums are in as anti-CTM and anti-IG tech, given that that deck is making a comeback. Freedom and Film Critic are desynergistic, but you need that NACH to stay on the board against some decks and against those you don't need to rush to victory. Indexing and Freedom still work as a finisher.

This deck has an amazing matchup against all stripes off HB, with Atman 3 and Atman 4 extremely problematic for their supposedly taxing ice, and clot threat stops the fast advance. It destroys Sync using NACH to turn off 24/7, and has a decent matchup against CTM if you get a good economic start and can start Slumming the assets. Struggles a little against Blue Sun due to the massive variation in ice strength but Film Critic turns off the Midseasons Plan, and Fan Sites will help you set up before they can rush out. Against IG you need to see Slums early and the Film Critic really helps; saccing an early stolen Agenda to the God of Slums is usually the right call.

If IG comes back in a big way then dropping a clone chip or a sucker for Employee Strike will help significantly, and maybe switching out the Freedom for a Same Old Thing.

Wins on the day against Russian NEH, Standard CTM, Museum IG and Jeeves ETF. Loss was to Dedication IG. (Two Indexing whiffed and didn't see the Slums early enough). With my Blue Sun record of 3-2 this was enough to see me into the double elim rounds, but sadly I didn't get to play my runner before being knocked out.

If you're looking for something Shapery and good that isn't Stealth, give this a spin. Da Vinci is a super fun card that makes piloting feel streamlined yet challenging.

I have two questions if I may:

1 -I am sure it is the right call but why did Patron not end up in this deck? Can you talk about why it failed to make the cut etc? It looks like a natural fit.

2 - Did you ever consider slotting the Source instead of Clot? Or instead of something else? "No" is probably the right answer. It is just you have both Fan Sites AND Artist Colony AND DaVinci so it feels like it might fit!

It used to run Patron but there is an issue with putting all your eggs in one basket - i.e. when runs are your only source of economy. The worst thing to see as this deck is turn 1 "ice-ice-ice", and Patron exacerbates that problem; you can't reliably Temujin, build datasuckers and Da Vinci Counters and can't draw either. Fan Site and Artist Colony on the other hand mean that you can sit back and build and after their first agenda score you now have the option to start cracking servers open, which you wouldn't if you had all the run economy cards installed but no servers to target.

Source is too vulnerable to remote scoring windows without Fall Guy. Clot can be recurred and doesn't require Film Critic to stay around, which is important against Russian NEH and HB-FA where Film Critic is a liability but stopping fast advance is super important.

It's not as popular in the meta as it was, but this deck as no answer to swordsman, am I missing something?
