Wayland PMC v2

After getting feedback from a few people (Thanks Letsaros) I went back to the drawing board and heavily retooled my original deck.

It has the same core purpose, mix the Argus Flatline aggression with the high cost, low number of agenda layout from Blue-Sun Government Takeover, but with massive changes to the ice and influence cards.

I built the deck not to keep the runner out, but force them to spend clicks to dump tags and recover from damage on almost every run. I've found it's rarely the ice keeping the runner out, it's the fear that a face-check will result in a flat-line.

I've played this deck 7 times with my local group and flat-lined the runner in 6 of those games.

Although it's risky to include Government takeover in any deck, Argus just adds a little bit of a safety net here. If the runner does score an agenda, no matter which, the time to dump tags (I've never seen someone take meat damage) is a turn they could run against another identity. Even when they do dump tags the high cost agendas make Punitive almost as effective as Scorched.

Card Choices: I'm using Draco as a low cost tag/end run combination. More often than not I can rez it for 1 during a face check and score a cheap trace.

I've seen people that hate Hive, others love it, I think it's perfect for this deck. Early game it's a brick that'll bankrupt most runners to penetrate. After I score 1 agenda it's still cheaper and more effective than 2 wall of static. If I've scored 2 agendas it means I've already deployed Data Ravens and DRTs, and the runner can probably go through my Ice anyways.

I originally had 1 High-Risk Investment as filler in my deck, but after a couple games I actually swapped a second one in. Having a scored High-Risk means I can land a guaranteed blow when I need it. If the runner makes a single mistake I can cash in High-Risk, raise my trace by their entire credit pool, and watch them flat-line.

Future Changes: I've considered putting in Elizabeth Mills to help control the bad publicity, but I haven't rezzed Checkpoint enough for it to be an issue yet. Will have to play a few more games before I decide.

I expect there are a few places where I can improve the deck so any feedback is appreciated.

If this were mine, I would go all out on the "You uncover an agenda, I am going to kill you" aspect to the deck. I'd swap out the SEA Source for a third Snare!, a Scorched Earth for a third Punitive Counterstrike, and maybe I'd consider removing the Housekeeping in favor of Contract Killer but that could go either way.

I would consider putting a couple contract killers into the deck, but I'd be extremely hesitant to remove the SEA. Without SEA the deck is VERY passive, it would require the runner to steal an agenda, or make a major mistake and leave tags out, for there to be any chance of making a strike against the runner.

Even though I only have one copy of SEA in my deck it does allow me to follow up when the runner has a particularly bad turn, securing a kill instead of giving the runner time to recover.

Housekeeping is one of those cards I could see myself replacing, under the right circumstances, but it does have a place here. Trashing 1 card to install the first card each turn isn't much, but it is additional pressure. If the runner is off their draw it's an additional click, or one less life, each turn. It also allows me to replace any annoying current events the runner may play. Not my favorite card in the deck, but it has earned it's place so far.

Good catch on the Scorched / Punitive, that's actually a typo and should be the other way around anyways.
