🔥 Oracle May Tenma 🔥
TLDR: 1. Pick 40 events (must include 3x Special Order and 3x Hostage, and about half should be Run events). 2. Special Order Engolo. 3. Hostage Oracle May. 4. Enjoy 3 drip credits a turn plus an arsenal of running options.
T.H.E.M. = Thomas Haas Escapes Mother.
This simple Oracle May concept is something that I've been playing around with for years now thanks to a Dallas friend's list (🤷... 7+ years ago!). It has gone through many iterations, and the easiest and best home for it is Criminal (run events, Special Order, Hostage). My favorite aspect about this deck is having to choose 40 events - there are so many to choose from that you normally wouldn't choose to make room for, but you need 40 of them 🤩! . . . Now I'm finally posting it because R.I.P. Oracle May (particularly saddening because Nisei has some delicious new events coming down the pipe for this concept!).
Strategy and piloting tips for this particular list (it's beautifully simple):
ALWAYS Special Order/Hostage when you draw them prior to oracling again.
Be careful using Oracle May BEFORE Engolo is installed since it could set you back a lot... However, if you need to rush, you are 4 times more likely to oracle into a card that will fetch Engolo itself. Plus, you should draw more than once a turn if you can't put pressure on yet. However, once you have Engolo, don't fear at all (Paperclip and Test Run)!
If you're up against card attrition (looking at you Jinteki: PE/etc), DO NOT Hostage Oracle May. Instead, just Hostage and use Kati Jones. You will have plenty of money.
Almost every turn will quickly become Oracle May event, Run event, event, Kati Jones.
