Gagarin Team Turtles.
Tech Startup is the big card here. It gives you double credits off of Turtlebacks and gives you lots of opportunities to grab what you need for specific cases. Get Elizabeth Mills if you're about to score a Hostile Takeover to nullify the bad pub, or grab Team Sponsorship if she's already in HQ/Archives. Otherwise get Turtlebacks out early to start the money coming.
Team Sponsorship makes every agenda score really profitable. Score a Hostile Takeover, Team Sponsorship out an asset, possibly earning money off of Turtlebacks. If you have access to a Mills in HQ/Archives you can instantly nullify the bad pub. Bad pub with Gagarin is really rough so try not to let it stick.
Only two Jacksons because Weyland influence is super tight. Tech Startup can tutor for them and Team Sponsorship recurs cards anyway so it isn't too bad?

Executive Boot Camp is a click and a credit slower than Tech Startup though, since you still need to reinstall the asset. I guess the credit cost can be offset if I trigger the start-of-turn effect before using it, and the click penalty isn't as bad for Gagarin as NEH. People around me aren't playing Val much so I wasn't too worried about Blackmail, but I think you're right it's probably good to include at least 1x. |
I think Executive Boot Camp would be seriously better than tech startup in your deck. It's in-faction, you can fire it in any ability window (even when the runner makes a run to trash it) rather than just start of turn, and it allows you to rez ice at a discount, protecting your scoring remote from Blackmail runs.
