** This deck was named before the tournament - so I don't expect to do better next time!
This deck was provided to me by Andy from the Liverpool meta with a minor tweak, cutting a 3rd Ultraviolet Clearance for a 2nd Ash. It's a basic Jinja rush deck with a backup Biotic Vitruvius plan if needed. Border Control provides some help with scoring Ikawah later in the game, compressing clicks and credits in a Jinja remote.
Most of the games were rush outs before the runner could set up but I've put some memorable moments in the list below.
Beat Roland (Chaos Theory) I knew his deck and strategy and just rushed out very quickly
Beat Terje (Adam) This was a nailbiter as I had to use nearly all my credits to deny an agenda steal with Ash a couple of times. The first time, Terje, couldn't trash the Ash in the remote and that ultimately proved to be the difference near the end of the game.
Beat Alex White (Freedom) Alex was struggling to get set up and I don't believe he was able to trash anything before I finished the game.
Beat Patrick Gower (Akiko) The most memorable moment of this otherwise rushed out game, was fast advancing the Vitruvius from hand, then Patrick pointing out that I should be waiting for Clot - before telling me he didn't have it in his deck!
Lost to Andy (Exile) Andy's Exile was exceptionally hard to tax and eventually I lost to 2 Indexings on a badly defended R&D.
Timed loss to Ben Ni (Noise) My favourite moment of the weekend. Noise had milled out a large portion of my deck and eventually Ben went to check a large chunk of cards in archives. I told him to enjoy the dig - which had precisely 0 agendas. I loved his expression at the discovery. More mills later, he checks again - still no agendas! However, by this point, he had milled me to 3 cards in R&D with a 2 in 3 chance to hit the winning agenda and he duly won off R&D.
Beat James with timed win (Maxx) I should have lost this one. We went to time, just as James was making his final run and as Omar, he ran through R&D with a Stimhack and I managed to rez a Fairchild 3.0. With not enough credits to break all subs on the Fairchild 3.0 / Loki R&D, he was forced to jack out. Archives was very weakly protected and at the end, we saw 3 agendas on the top, which he had 6 Turning Wheel counters to get through.
Beat Sam (Ayla) Another rush out, though I liked Sam's ideas for his deck.
Lost to Swiftie (Leela) Turns out Diversion of Funds isn't a bad card after all. I spent most of the game clicking for credits as I was agenda flooded. I almost had the win but Swiftie stole the final agenda before I could score out.
Lost to Chris Dyer (Valencia) I didn't see much of my economy in this game and couldn't rez enough ICE, though rezzing Chris' Border Control against him was cool at least!
