A Regionals Leela Deck (by Team 2X3ZB9CY)

LSK 4674

This was a collaborative effort with @tstack and @dheraz. We built it for regionals season, because we wanted to play a deck with a lot of good cards in it, and these are the cards we wanted to play:

Indexing, which is a pretty good card.

Diversion of Funds is also a pretty good card.

Tapwrm/Saccon is a pretty good combo, which makes them good cards.

This deck isn't anything special - it's pretty back to basics - but it is fun, and also good. Give it a shot.

I did, and I missed out on the top 8 of a regional only by strength of schedule. That's pretty good!

Played some jenteek games with it. Plays like a sweet pile from 2016. Any comments on why these changes are bad? -1 Mongoose +1 Faerie I am not scared of stacked sentries. You have Maxwell and Sneakdoor if that happens. Honestly, code gates are spikier and more common than sentries

-1 Dirty Laundry +1 Legwork When I got to the point that I could Laundry successfully, I already was swimming in cash. On the other hand, some more HQ pressure would be nice to have on demand. Having one Legwork goes a long way with Same Old THing.

I really want Leela to win a Regional. I guess my biggest issue with the deck is that Tapwrm and Diversion/PAD Tap are anti-synergistic. Do you feel like each game you have to decide whether you deny or you try to worm your way to money?

I'm working on something similar, but I have some questions here. 1. How do you plan to install Sneakdoor? You have 4MU and Tapwrm and no console. 2. You can save 3 inf by having 1x indexing and 1x planned assault, as well as having a little more flexibility to get stuff like Mad Dash/Legwork/Inside Job when you need it. 3. No Legwork? Only 1 mining accident? I'm pretty insistent on 3 mining accidents, since a bad pub is basically the same thing as a desperado. Then again finding a balance between taking money and tapwrm can be a pain. 4. How often has PAD Tap been worth it? I've been testing it a bit and it seems really hit or miss depending on the matchup. 5. How well did the deck preform? What were the matchups?

Also I've been leaning toward Drive By instead of Falsified Credentials. Main reason being it ruins NGO Front completely and also deals with batty/ash.
