Oh Mercury... One day we'll make something work. I've had a lot of fun with Izzy's excellent Theory of Mercury list, setting up for big combo turns and keeping corps broke with 4 Diversion of Funds in one game. But I'll admit I'm not the best at reading the board state, and this deck needs a clear eye to effectively pilot. I knew it wasn't the best deck for the AMT, but I was excited to try it out.
Until I only played against asset decks. An NEH Bladderwort sniped an early Miss Bones from hand and knocked me out of the game. Against Grudgework Ob, I tunnel visioned hard on Urban Renewals and fell into the corps gameplan. There are ways to win those games, but they feel like real tough matchups for this list.
Perhaps with Automata Initiative Part II we'll get enough Mercury support to win a few games together. But probably not.
