It's lonely at the top. Especially when you're the only one there, the only one who thought it was a good idea to bring a degenerate Neurospike deck to a competitive event.
Indeed, this was the only (checks notes and spelling) Restoring Humanity list at the event, and it did go undefeated before a technical issue with the single-sided Swiss pairing software caused a long delay and I had to drop out of the event due to other commitments. But between its competitive wins and its high win rate on Jnet casual, I think this is a solid deck.
The game plan is to use your excellent operation economy get to rich quick and threaten an Anansi on the remote server too early for the runner to contest. Using La Costa Grid, slow advance one of your 5/3s. Keep icing the remote and make the cost of running it too dear. At least one of your centrals will be open or lightly protected and too tempting to resist, and you're actually fine with the runner stealing 6 points. You usually just need to score once to win. You are not fine with them Imping your operations or Border Controls, and you're not fine with getting DooFed, so use ice as tax where you need it most.
By the time you score the agenda you are going to want to have 2x Neurospike in hand (possibly 3x if the runner plays The Class Act or pulls a Chameleon back to hand at the end of turn before you are going to score; or if I've Had Worse or other damage mitigation is in play).
The ID ability on Restoring Humanity is nice, but really this ID is the choice because it's 40 cards. This lets you find your key pieces quickly. If you have not already found your Neurospikes by the time you're ready to score, then you can use Bacterial Programming to dig into R&D and fetch them to hand (on score or steal).
Gene Splicer and Preemptive Action are included as an insurance policy in case you need to get your tools back into R&D, or if you need to actually score 7 points for the win.
Also worth saying that I cannot claim credit for this idea: I got wrecked by a similar deck one night on a random jinteki.net game and I made a version of what I saw. So, kudos to the anonymous net damage fiend out there who inspired this list.
