GRNDL: Quick as a Corpse was a Plan B Rush deck with a Project Junebug backup plan. Extensive playtesting resulted in 58% of games ending with 20-30 credits in hand and an average of 17% dead turns as the Corporate pilot was flooded with economy cards while already holding a large sum of credits in hand.
This rebuild removes Plan B in favor of more utility via Shipment from Kaguya to employ the Swarm ICE and the defense of Off the Grid. This deck is designed to exploit the 5 click advantage that GRNDL Power Unleashed starts with to outrace the Runner's use of Bad Publicity credits. Phase 1 should be constructing defenses for HQ and R&D, with a possible early Project Junebug flatline if the Runner is showing high aggression. Phase 2 should focus on constructing solid defenses alongside Agenda scoring to delay Phase 3 as long as possible. If Phase 3 is reached before GRNDL: QaaC V.2 can threaten match point, then Project Junebug should be installed via Mushin no Shin for an attempted flatline.
Agenda Point victory behind strong ICE fueled by the turbo economy of this build.
The alternate win condition is a Project Junebug installed via Mushin no Shin to deal 6-8 points of net damage to an unsuspecting Runner. This should be employed in Phase 1 if the Runner is proving to be very aggressive, or late game if Phase 3 is achieved without reaching match point.
GRNDL QaaC V.2 is utilizing the GRNDL starting advantage with traditional GRNDL economy cards of Geothermal Fracking, Profiteering, and Hedge Fund.
In this rebuild, we've introduced GRNDL Refinery in order to manipulate Runner expectations to help secure a Project Junebug victory and as another economy source. However, manipulating Runner expectation is more important than economy from GRNDL Refinery so do not give much concern if it's trashed before triggered.
With that said, a solid play would be Mushin no Shin to install a GRNDL Refinery and then install Off the Grid. If this play is utilized when the Runner credits are at a sufficiently low level, then it should be possible to score a 5 token GRNDL Refinery for 20 credits the following turn.
GRNDL QaaC V.2 wants to drop and score Agendas faster than the Runner anticipates, and as such wants to draw Agendas quickly. The Agenda density is high with low point Agendas.
Geothermal Fracking, Hostile Takeover, and Profiteering boost economy with their points.
Vulcan Coverup will disrupt Runner tempo and set them back a couple of clicks, but has been reduced by 1 in this build due to the unnecessary Bad Publicity associated with it's theft.
Project Atlas is included strictly as a 3/2 high efficiency Agenda.
GRNDL Refinery should be played as described under ECONOMY above. Jackson Howard is present primarily for card draws. Project Junebug is the alternate win condition to be employed as described in WIN CONDITION above.
Off the Grid is a Phase 2 play that does well by itself and is the ideal third click after a Mushin no Shin installation. Do not deploy OtG until HQ has a sufficient ICEburg in front of it.
Hedge Fund is present for Phase 1 economy until sufficient pieces are in play to regularly score the Economy supporting Agendas.
Mushin no Shin usage is described above for Project Junebug and GRNDL Refinery.
Shipment from Kaguya will allow for simultaneous ICE and Agenda advancement for work compression. This concept was borrowed from zithith's Necessary Evil deck.
Scorched Earth is in this deck to punish tag me decks and provide support for an attempt to Project Junebug the Runner.
GRNDL QaaC V.2 has expanded slightly beyond End the Run ICE with the inclusion of Swarm and Matrix Analyzer. Chimera, Hadrian's Wall and Draco (with at minimum 9 strength) should be the Go-To ICE for most situations, presenting GRNDL rez capable ICE in Phase 1 and 2 that the Runner cannot break. Guard is present to trip up Inside Jobs, and Archer to present teeth against an aggressive Runner.
Swarm is proving to be an interesting hedge against Bad Publicity by presenting a severe threat that can be constantly grown. Even if the Runner pays off the subroutines instead of breaking them, the high tax is sufficient to chew up most Bad Publicity credits.
Matrix Analyzer is being tested out in this build for it's encounter utility. Matrix Analyzer provides an opportunity to grow Swarm and Hadrian's Wall with every approach, and this ability cannot be broken.
A Never Advance evaluation is currently taking place which has Geothermal Fracking on the chopping block. I am also considering a version that removes the Mushin No Shin and Project Junebug in favor of more tag punishment via Scorched Earth and Closed Accounts.

What about using interns to recur off the grid? Would that work the same as Isabel to recur off the grid? Also I only have 1 core handy, what would you switch the one copy of Hadrian's and one copy of Shipment? |
I am also toying with the idea of using Isabel McGuire to return Off the Grid after scoring for another Mushin. It would require a rebuild to get the Influence to bring in Isabel and increase Mushin to 3x though.
