I decided to play this late on Friday night, made a handful of entirely untested changes in an approach that is at best cavalier and at worst disrespectful, played zero practice games and apparently didn't tell the other Process people what I was doing. Not my finest moment, all in all.
3-1 at Bristol (getting roundly smoked by Jonald's excellently played Ob; this was the only game all weekend that I didn't draw Annicam at all and the deck is extremely awkward in both tempo and memory terms when that happens) and 5-0 at Exeter.
The argument behind the changes is that Clot is very awkward in a deck where SMC and Simulchip are already premium resources, and fast advance is a relatively small part of the meta. Entangler is an excellent card, answers several otherwise very awkward ice pieces, and can be searched for and used relatively cheaply when credits are tight early on, which they often are. I think Casts or Telework is debatable when it's one slot, but Casts is definitely better when you have two slots.
Sokka's original deck is already excellent, but there's still a lot of room for iteration and improvement in this list and the ceiling in this meta is sky high. About ten cards and almost all the influence is potentially tweakable, and the correct loadout of tools in the box is still very much up for debate. Tech cards in particular might end up changing week to week, but the core of Annicam, events, SMC and Simulchips are absolutely rock solid.
Thanks to Baa and Chordgang for running an excellent pair of events, Sokka for making the original deck and Kikai for telling me to play it, essentially everyone in the UK for making Regionals land with such a bang and Process pals for a lovely time hanging out.
