Additions - Snitch, this can be pure pain in the ass once blackguard is out, using its ability every run!
Crescentus - Allows for flexibilty in choosing which ice to expose and make the corp pay over and over for. Make them regret playing defenses at all!
Magnum Opus: The ultimate resource engine. With this and siphon, you'll be running all day long, and to get blackguard going ASAP.
With blackguard you can run the 3 breaker suite Mopus and 1 utility program, hopefully snitch early, crescentus later, femme if necessary. I really would like to have snitch and crescentus up, but whatever.
The removal of resources has allowed this deck to go 100% tag me, thus upping the plascretes to 3. Smaller deck size and focused effort will let you get 2 and keep you safe from scorches. Use magnum to recover from closed accounts, and to run up credits to beat weyland's sea source range. Code cracker was removed to free up space, and upon thinking about it, that's a very click and credit intensive ordeal, and might be better off as a 1 of.
Older notes: Lots of expose to punish with black guard. Standard breaker suite to allow efficient breaking. No recursion for browsers because with this much expose, you have no excuse to lose breakers lol. Should get up quick, and the interfaces make runs efficient once up and running.
Power combos in this deck include blackguard with satellite uplink, expose 2 ice say R&D and the remote, then forged orders the ice of HQ and if they trash it, you should be free to siphon up!

I certainly agree that each has their case, but I feel like the compression of exposing 2 cards is quite important. The most common situation is to expose first the ice installed over the remote, and then the card in the remote. You get the benefit of challenging the cash, but also knowing if you need to run. Even better, you can see if you can shut down the ice over it by running hq, peeking another card, then running the remote! thats 3 exposes in 1 turn! Knowledge is power! Snitch's ability is optional too, so if you must run first, you don't have to trigger the force rez, and its a fair ability in it's own right, especially running aggressive early. Not sure quite how well it works out, but practice will tell! Also the 2 credits in a magnum opus deck is pretty much nothing too! |

Also being able to expose and potentially rez the ice over a server you don't need to run now, and the ice where you want to go can be crucial for breaker selection. I imagine this deck will sit back and do a little intel gathering and figure out the fastest cheapest path to victory...then strike hard. While it's waiting, it'll be costing the corp money by expose/rez effects. Call it the most shapery criminal, which is why I feel like magnum opus is a good pick. |
Glad to see you taking heed of advice :D This version definitely looks more solid than the previous one.
Just one thing - I'd probably favor Infiltration over Satellite Uplink, due to how multi-expose works on your turn (if you hit a cheap ice and an expensive ice, and rezzing the cheap one first means there's not enough left for the expensive one to rez, you might actually leave the enemy with more cash than if you were to only expose the expensive one). Also, I'd think that with Snitch and your ID's ability, 2 credits would be more valuable than an extra expose. Could be wrong though.
