Postmodernism

I'm going to make more of an effort to post decklists from our NH meetups because I think we stumble into some good ideas even if we aren't hard-core enough to refine them.

This deck came about because I've been thinking about Supermodernism a lot, but I realized I didn't even need Weyland.

  1. Burst Economy - Azmari, Hedge Fund, Offworld Office.

  2. Gear-Checks - Ping, Wraparound, Magnet

  3. Program Destruction - Stavka, Amani Senai, Self-Growth Program, F2P.

  4. Kill Threat - End of the Line, Snare.

Keep your opponent's money low by tagging them over and over and making them replay stuff. Eventually they fail to clear and die or you finish pushing your agendas out. Plan A is to score out, but if they go too fast that's fine too.

It's still a first draft, and it isn't quite there. But I do feel like there is something here and I'll probably keep iterating.

I played it at the meetup to wins over 3 different people playing Arissana, a win over Seb and a loss to Seb (all 9 agendas in top 15 cards).

I like this! But why doing this in Azmari EdTech: Shaping the Future instead of NBN: Reality Plus?

Cheers!

Hello @Diogene!

I wasn't sure how much tag stuff would be in the deck when I started (or how much will survive revision), it adds to the Runner's mental load while making similar money (I don't think it's less unless your opponent sabotages themselves), and I think it's more unclear what deck you're playing with Azmari. I wanted to be tied to the game plan, and not (necessarily) giving tags.

I played 7 games with this deck over the weekend in 2 events and won 6 of them. I felt that Azmari was a good choice because I called resources every single turn, so either me and the runner both had money or we were both short.

I played End of the Line twice for value and hit breakers both times.

I was trying to think about what I would change in this deck and I can’t think of anything. Great job!

@NinjaMikeHey! I'm glad you enjoyed the deck. I'm just seeing your comment now, but I appreciate the kind words!
