The updates added 3 Bastion for hard ETR. I want some porous ICE to tax actions for Punitive setup/Overwriter trapping.

How well are those False Leads playing for you? I run a similar deck, but I save two cards by not running those. Also, it's easier to Punitive or just stall without them providing the runner with a 7th point. If they're winning games though, I totally understand. |

They play super well with heimdall and ichi 2.0 if the runner banks on clicks. I like them in my BD decks. |

Keep in mind the false leads can be your seventh point too. Having to score 9 points no matter what if they runner plays cautiously is almost impossible. And yes - heimdall, ichi, janus, snare + punitive all have great synergy with false lead. |

Interesting, I'll try that out at some point. My version isn't quite the same, but I'm curious to try both. Thanks, |

False Leads is insane in this list. 1.) yes, they are your 7th point. 2.) if they snag a 3 pointer, you can make them lose clicks to set up Punitive flatline 3.) you can easily turn a false lead into a 3 pointer by forfeiting it 4.) it has insane synergy with the HB ice, esp. the 2.0. I have been playing this all week and have been killing runners a lot. I have never seen overwriter as good as it is in this. I have a few tweaks: a) -3 Ichi 2.0 for 2 Ichi 1.0 and a 3rd Eli. Why? Reina is a tough match, and, drawing these too early feels pretty sketchy. I want to see 1 in a game. In truth, it may be right to have 1 of each, as 2 copies of 2.0 drawn feels not awesome. Rez for 5 feels right. And Eli is one of the best tax ice for this deck, so having 3 is clutch. b.) -2 Viper + 2 Viktor 2.0. This is a much more solid taxing ice, AND, it has a little more push through and works nice with Wotan. In my meta, Opus seems to be in every deck, even Andy. That said, people pay through Viper. I would rather pay 2 more and make them lose clicks on average. Punitive is either insane or a dead draw. Part of me wants to shift into another influence expenditure--Gift is soooooo good in this deck, so a 2nd copy would be welcome. HOWEVER, I think I am willing to play the averages in that a combination of Punitive(s) and Memories = flatline 9/10. |

I took this to a win in a 5 round store champs this weekend. I am considering switching out punitive for neural EMP, just because they can be traced through and stop mattering at a 4-6 points for runner. They are a big head game though. |

I run neural EMP in mine with EoW, but I run vitruvious where if I overscore it I have access to that many copies of EMP when I draw just 1. Might not be as great for you since you really need 2-3 to capitalize on brain damage, if you keep your current agenda layout, definitely keep punitive. Sentinel defence is a pretty big pain in the ass when it's scored, especially 2 of them. I recommend that if you mix up agenda layout any. |
Now this will bring the pain. My only tiny concern is 3 ichi 2.0, drawing 2 together is brutal, but with all the draw power from the clearances, it might be just fine. Thats one of those play test to find out things.
As it stands I wouldn't change anything except maybe viper for viktor2.0, as it normally will only drain from the runner rather than viper's traces draining from you, for just 1 more credit, and it is similarly immune to E3. Also, viktor will often bait a click-through, taxing clicks.
