Suggested revision of "Hard ICED Tea V1.0".

Dropped all ETR Bioroids, added Sherlock to give other pieces a better chance to fire. Akitaro is OK with Cell Portal, but you really just need to print tons of money to make the combo work, and as mentioned you need to hide your pieces and dump Bioroids in the trash en masse, so JH seems better.

You might want to do 3x Whirlpool instead of 3x Cell Portal; dunno. Or a third Jackson and — why not — a Research Station might work for those two pips.

Chimeras might work if you push toward even more advertisements — could let you score an early Mandatory Upgrades. I'd take one or both of the Guards out if you go in that direction.

Shipment from MirrorMorph might support you as you draw fast, build up your pieces in the right order, and thereby hide them better than if they were hanging out in HQ or R&D.

Finally, I added an MMC, because if you're going to dream big with Mandatory Upgrades, you should be able to live the dream once you score it. :D

I like this list very much, and think it fits my original concept very well. Jackson's will likely help over Akitaro, I think, and most of those Operations are card I wanted to find a place for but current. My only question would be regarding your ICE cuts, as I fear cutting so many of the End The Run ICE will allow them to score out, and I would like the deck to be able to manage even before I draw into the combo pieces. I plan on testing a few versions of this deck soon, so we shall see how things play out.

Yeah, going no-ETR is kind of ridiculous, and now that I look at it, Guard isn't good any more with so many sentries. Better to do something with Heimdalls or Chimeras, though for the latter I fear that the deck is pretty susceptible to AIs. Some kind of barrier, anyway.

I wouldn't recommend any Viktors — better to avoid encouraging the runner to install any decoders until you're ready to kill them.

Let me know what you come up with! I've been trying to make the click-loop combo work in Jinteki, and I've also been wanting to make a NEXT Design deck, so jumping in was too hard to resist. :D

Viktor was just the first ETR ICE the popped into my head. I definitely might try Chimera and maybe some barrier ICE. Still, will let you know how things work out.

I am literally losing sleep over trying to create a NEXT Design deck that will just beam with not only bright ideas, but also success on the table play testing, lol. It's like trying to fit The Big Show into a 1967 Mini Cooper, basically. :(

If/when you guys, CodeMarvelous, and anyone else comes up with a winner post-Upstalk release, ya'll should post multiple variations to see what works and what doesn't. :)
