Three Scavenge seems excessive, especially as most of your programs seem pretty vital.

Also, Professional Contacts and Magnum Opus? I tend not to run both, but you clearly run Nasir more than I do. Care to explain the logic?

@Jashay Absolutely, scavenge is to reset the Atman and Lady ( which is the only fracter in this deck). So having three is pretty much like being able to break four more elis. :) Resetting Atman is very very strong. That means you can SMC out Atman to get through 1 ICE, then when you draw another Atman, you can set it at 4 or what you'd like to get that other one out cheaper. Sometimes you also can scavenge a Datasucker for Parasite or sharpshooter.

Both Professional Contacts and Magnum Opus are 'engines' for Nasir, clearly, but it's important to have one of those engines (or a Workshop) on turn one. The main reason is that you can't guarantee that the opponent is going to rez or that they're not playing NEH. So to have 8 possible strong turn 1 plays is effective to get you going. Slamming MOpus or ProCo and then running can net you some credits and really get you ahead. Losing one isn't so vital.

Also, full disclosure, I didn't come up with the 2 MO 3 PC build. I saw it and tested it out (and liked it) and then appropriated it in my decks. Effectively, you are never poor, and you can run through basically any server.

A possible swap is 2 Codebusting for MOpus. That's something I did in an older build, but I haven't for a while just because new cards came out and the builds keep shifting. It's viable, and it's cheaper.

I don't think it's excessive to have 3 scavenge. This would be the only deck that would cause me to think so though as it needs it generally more than any other that I've encountered. Atman/Femme/Cerberus resets are huge.

Personally, I really like this deck. I've been toying around alot with Astrolabe but I find it inconsistent in that your opponent generally can play around it unless it's jinteki PE. The other question I guess I would have would be how good are profcon/magop together? In my mind, their use times seem to conflict and magop is just too expensive MU-wise and money wise. I picture magop as basically there for the big reloads when necessary. Have you tried armitage? Thinking of adding profcon to my build along side armitage instead to save MU.

also want to try dysons mem chip rather than cyber solutions.

@Widied Yep! I think I just posted my response at the same time you did. There is a logic to it. Codebusting is a definite way to go, but the uses are limited. That said, Codebusting is VERY strong here. It might be the correct choice in this deck.

hehe yeah. i had used the natman build a few times and generally liked it but it seemed lacking burst economy for those times when things dont go as planned and you need to get back to a respectable amount of money in a hurry - outside of stimhack (which was a great piece of insight on the decks behalf). it's actually eerie how my new build is to this one! I've been reading other write ups and looking at other versions and my experience lines up with what you are seeing too by the looks of things. other builds often rely too heavily on 'during the run' currency forgetting the fact that once ice is rez'd Nasir plays like every other runner for the most part.

Cyber-cipher is a good little silver bullet too, another you can move around with scavenge to get maximum effect.

@Widied But what to cut! :)

it's pretty tight... dangerously i went down to 2 plascrete! living on the edge!

I waffle between 2 and 3. I think 3 is better right now because Blue Sun is popular.

You're not lying there lol... definitely is.
