After being outshined by PPVP Kate, Noise is back with a vengeance -- but not without his crutch friends.
The deck went 3-1 during the Swiss and undefeated in the cut of a 16-man post-MWL tourney in the Philippines. The deck beat Sync FA, NEH Kill, and Haarp Kill/Astro, and lost to Jinteki PE in the swiss. The deck won vs. Haarp Kill/Astro in the finals of the cut.
This is my take on the classic Noise list, all teched up in every way imaginable.
3 I've Had Worse and a Plascrete Carapace. Try and flatline me now (spoiler: I died to PE). Kill decks are VERY popular in our meta, so extra protection never hurt. All-star in all games. At worst, it's Faust fodder.
2 Clot. Because people will still make Fastro work. And oh boy, did it do work during the day. Make sure you always have one out, or ready to Peddle/Chip one in.
2 Medium. Because Yellow decks lose to deep RnD digs.
2 D4v1d. Screw your Wraparounds.
3 Parasite. Data Raven/Pop-ups? Say hello to my friend. BYE.
1 Mimic. Because Swordsman is a thing.
And finally. 3 Imps. They were the MVPs of the day. I never ran without one of them online. Imps are your Plascrete 2-4. They are also Film Critics 1-3. They trash the Scorches, 24/7s, Midseasons, and they can stop you from stealing agendas way too early when you're poor. It does everything I want and more.
Noise is so powerful right now. CVS does not hurt as much as you think it does. I hit CVS 2-3 times per game VS non-Haarp decks and recover fine. CVS does not stop you. Try it out for yourself.
My only regret is that I did not run Lampreys during the day. In hindsight, I should have, which could have made my games THAT much easier. Every game was a nailbiter. Although I'm not sure which cards to cut.
Noise is back. And he's here to stay.
