All credit to b4ralai on his list. I took it to a game night and what I thought was a fun night of jank was in fact a MONSTER DECK.
As others are discovering the 1 of Theo makes the deck a little fragile. Also, I found I was setting up with Theo and Opus pretty quick (maybe turn 3 at the latest), so I was always ditching my Sure Gamble and Daily Casts. While that's not a bad thing to have food for Faust, I feel like it would be good to at least have cards that do more work.
So, with all that in mind I put in 1 Deja Vu to get Theo back immediately if he's trashed. I ditched the Gambles and Casts and put in Same Old Thing to recur those tasty events and a couple Personal Touch, because the only thing better than Faust is SUPER FAUST. I'd do 3 personal touch except the binary nature of Faust strength gain makes a third Touch worthless.
There's also a 1 of Infiltration in there, because why not? Here's the thing about 1 of cards in this deck: it doesn't matter. When you have your whole stack in your hand a 1 of is still a guaranteed play.
So before you go trying other Faust decks you should try this one. Until you've experienced the ultimate power of having your whole damn stack in your grip with Faust on the table you haven't lived!
I too took the original deck (as referenced in "Derived From") to a game night last night with only one change, adding in another Leprechaun, and it handily beat two opponents.
I can see how it would be nice to be able to get Bagbiter back right away if he gets trashed, but note that reinstall would result in a loss of all your credits. Maybe a better spend of the influence is a couple of Fall Guys?
