Shout out to @Akanderson for giving me the rundown on the deck the day before the event. All I can say is the deck is solid and only lost me 1 game all day against a Leela. I made 2 misplays against Leela that I think inevitably cost me the game and knocked me out of the cut.

Yeah, I misplayed the first agenda letting him medium dig for a turn and score a Nisei. Then later when I used friends I put a 2nd Excalibur on my scoring server because I'd seen a Femme and wanted extra protection. Had I put that on R&D I don't think he's able to top deck the agenda that bounces the winning agenda. He played very well though. The maw was clutch too, it forced me to discard both snares. It was a good match all the way up to the end. |
Congrats on the finish! That Leela game was tough.
